Just out of interest can you guys please tell me what size cartridges you use and how much they cost you a case.

I think you will find most members will shoot 28g 6's for clays and maybe something like 32 or 34g 6 or 7's for live quarry. I just can't shoot Gamebore (as you all know) and some semi-autos don't like 65mm as in Hawkeye's Fabarm. Only Hawkeye has 56g hippo busters !! *aaaa* *lol*

I think you will find most members will shoot 28g 6's for clays and maybe something like 32 or 34g 6 or 7's for live quarry. I just can't shoot Gamebore (as you all know) and some semi-autos don't like 65mm as in Hawkeye's Fabarm. Only Hawkeye has 56g hippo busters !! *aaaa* *lol*

Mark, bought 500 today mate, cost was £64.00, these are no6 shot, 32 gms.
Hope that this helps you.. As a matter of interest the 28gms were about £7 cheaper! ;)

I use 28gr no# 8 for clays and 32gr no# 6 for live quarry, I use the cheap and nasty "D & J's" as they fortunately patterned consideribly well for me :D set me back about 105 quid (iirc) for 1000

Same as what I pay... did he get it from bransburton by any chance..




I use either gamebore or high flying pheasant..... clear pigeon.. i think.
oh no.. gotta check now... but one is clear and the other is green.. does that help....
