Not the best pics as they were taken with my phone  .

As you can see though, It's a lovely gun. It is in very good condition, has only a couple of small dings in the stock, but I hope to lessen these when I strip the varnish off it to oil it. It looks hardly used, and was a steal at £200 plus the side by side as part-ex. It's my birthday present! **yahoo** .
I can't wait to get out and have a go..... :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Birthday's next week.......I seem to get all my presents early **yahoo**

I don't think the shooting is so much the gun, as the guy who points it.
(Mikes Beretta semi auto is a good example of this *aaaa* ) *lol* *lol* *lol*
You get a gun that fits well, and get used to using it whatever type it is. I have seen old farmers make shots with side by sides that you truley wouldn't belive.

I tried to remove/lessen the marks in the stock using the "wet tea towel & iron" method tonight. I had heard that it did work on varnished stocks (althogh I can't see how as the steam can't get through). Needless to say, it didn't work, so I will try it again when I get the varnish off.

If you are having trouble hitting a barn door with it. May I suggest you try standing inside the barn. :D

DM,
You are correct sir.
This most obvious problem with the advice I previously and now upon reflection Rather hastily gave to James will now have to be given the proper consideration it deservers. After all the future of this mans shooting depends on it.
Hopefully the combined membership will be able to assist on this matter.

You dont carry the switch NUMPTY the barn is wired for electricity and he just has to use the switch to put the light on so he can see .........

Mind you have you seen James shoot he would still miss the barn (not just the door) even from the inside................. *aaaa* *aaaa* *aaaa* *aaaa* **sgun** **sgun** *hunter+crow* *hunter+crow*
