What thick pricks, thick or what. a number plate and their faces. calling them selves poachers and taking game birds under a lamp shoud be passed onto the authorities enough there to convict. |

Don't take the pith

That reminds me of being a teenager, my dad would spot a pheasant looking to go to roost and thenwhen dark we would go back, he would drop me off with the 4.10 and i would get it with a torch,he would pick me up and off home we go. His philosophy was that in winter you could shoot in someones garden at teatime and they would take no notice, lots going on in the kitchen. When i see some of the places i took a pheasant now i don't think i would have the balls to do it now. |

I agree they are total nods, putting their faces etc on the film, but, that aside the video quality was fantastic, and it was pretty well put together.I don't mind betting that almost everyone on here while they were youngsters have done something similar, even if it was just bird nesting, and that is how we got into the countryside sports, and we also learned the code that we live by as adults. I might go so far as to say that the 'Young' Roman Polanski might of started off like these reprobates.....lol p.s. sorry Robbo,I know you love your birds. M |

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that who cares? ....... He's a mile away and you've got his shoes!

Well put Martin, my Dad was a farm worker ,there were no organised pheasant shoots around,a pheasant on the table was a treat and a great prize. Not like we would go to Robbo's house and have one from there You put it well "we learnt the code we live as adults" Although i think everyone is educated nowadays that poaching is a crime and the birds are owned by someone. Those lads are stupid, like the motorcyclist who filmed himself at 150mph. |

I agree with you martin, but those are hardly daft lads they are old enough to drive a truck so are at least 17 and don't need to put food on the table like that. They are the element which gives field sports a bad image.

If only they were as bright as their lamps. So we know his car reg, his phone number, just what he looks like, how much he sells logs for....I get the feeling that If I continued to search through his videos I would have found out his PIN number and his mothers maiden name! |
