Sorry chaps been off-site for a while, but I have finnally got my FAC/SG to use on a large country estate. I now have a CZ 22lf rimmy which will pop bunnies at 70m and thats with me shooting, an old B/A 3" 410 with a moderator fitted works well not so quite when putting remmy long range 3" carts in, and yesterday picked up a 12g single moderated shotgun took a squirrel out @50m with Eley trainner carts ( they don't stock subs locally). It didn't disturb more squirrels 100m away, well pleased.

Went out this morning early where there is a gas crow scarer, great tactic to use the moderated gun near the scarer as the crows have got used to it and my gun is quieter, so I could pop crows one after the other. Its a bit heavy, but as I can't use a SG before 09:00am due to the stalkers or in the pheasent season I can shoot all year - quietly *good*

I haven't the camera kit yet - but hopefully soon. Yep the 12g mod was brought for £100 with a camo DPM sleave on the oversized barrel and a camo DPM x5 cart holder on the butt = monster. did some pattern tests on card then went of to find some volunteers , 1st up a squirrel @ 50 m =hit, missed the next @30m out to the truck window , drive by shooting on the country estate, (its not that bad where we live).

Tried it out on some rooks x2 for 1 twice then missed but it was 5 for 6. The mod bit is odd noisy in my ear but minum disturbance. will give it a good go at the weekend.

The little 410 with a mod was a bit under powered at 30 m so tried out some expensive remmington 3" long range carts - they are good @30m blows squirrels out of trees, but as I carry the rimmy at the same time - inverted on one shoulder. for a normal evening say 12 kills 10 with the rimmy and a few 410 for need/quick shots so its not too bad.

Found a trick with the rimmy - when taking off the knee shots - use the 410 as an angled prop on my right hand side - really steadies up 50 m shots. not a problem carring x2 guns - stops me taking elevated shots with the rimmy.

Good to hear from you all B)
