When browsing the site i have to keep stretching the toolbar to the right all the time to read all the text. Is there anyway that i can make HW smaller so i can actualy read half the topics on here, and see what im typing.

Cheers

I think it depends on how you have your resolution settings.

Mine are 1280 x 768 and the site looks perfect to me.

If you need to check what yours are, When on desktop - Right click - Properties - Settings. From here you should be able to see what your settings are.

Does anyone else have this problem?

You should have far more settings than that. Just to confirm what you are doing:

Start - Control Panel - Display - Settings - Screnn Resolution.

My is set at 1600x1200 which is the maximum however you can go down to 800x600 with 12 positions between. Don't forget to apply the change.

Everythings fine at this end.

I'm on a 16" (visible) / 17" wide screen and I have 2½" on each side of the 11" wide 'white box'.
All the posts appear in the 10½" grey box within the white box.

How wide is your screen, Arron?

I'm guessing if it is less than 10½", then a bit of scrolling would be required.

The only thing I notice is that the 'ranking' adverts above the banner are not centralised, and are aligned left.

You should then be able to drag the screen resoution bar towards the left until it says something like 1280 by 768, or you could even try 1024 by 768.

Remember what your setting is currently on, (or even write it down), in case the problem gets worse & you want to change it back.

Honzik, which web browser are you using? I use Firefox; the easiest way to solve your problem (with Firefox anyway) would be to press <ctrl> and the <-> (minus) key at the same time. This dereases the text size and gives more of a display. To reverse the change press <ctrl> and the <+> (plus) key.
I don't know if this is the same in Internet Exploder, as I don't use Windows, but I'm sure Shaggy or someone can let you know.

Text size is changed using 'View' > 'Text Size' in IE, but for some reason, this does not affect HW, maybe photopro could explain that.

I have a 19" flat screen monitor and my resolution is perfect at 1024x768,
for everywhere else, but here.
Even after removing the sidebar, I lose the right hand side of the page.
If I type across this reply box, the last few words would disappear off my screen
and I can't see them.

The space allowed for the smilies on the left, is bigger than the reply box.

As it only happens here, is there a site adjustment I can make somewhere ?

I have the same problem when I need to type a response.

It cannot be my settings cause on all other forums I use the page displays properly. :(

This is what my page looks like.

This area here should be ample enough space to type into.

Is your 'typing area box' smaller than this?

Without my sidebar, therefore on full screen, I cannot read most topics.
I can only see as far as the "Reply" icon, in the botom right hand corner of
the last post.

The words, "topics" and "of" posted above, is as far as I can see.

How do you upload pictures and I will post a couple showing what I mean.

I am using Firefox, by the way, but its the same in IE.

What I can't understand is, that not many other people are affected by this.
