mixed day; mixed fortunes

well i got up today no hangover *cheers*

so i decided i would try for some pigeon shooting about 20 miles away over some peas , i noticed pigeons dropping into them on my travels in the lorrie got vantage point being high *good*

anyway drove to farm asked very politely in my best scottish manner and got a no :(

poo i thought so set of for home a bit peeved on way home i thought stuff it i will go ask at another place ive been watching for a while , this time about rabbit shooting

well the farmer was the usual at first the it turns out he is related to my step mum
(who passed away 9 years ago) anyway that was it sorted he knows my father etc
and his last comment was mind if ya see ant bloddyfoxes shoot the b--------s

so ended the day shooting 17 rabbits
a class hill farm that is over run with rabbits loads hawk eye when you coming up
to shoot some of these rabbits as ammo is costing me dear :ph43r:
and this was just from the track as he didnt want us of the tracks until the weather drys up a tad

all in all a great day and a great new shoot

loads of rabbits and foxes :wub: realy good bit with safe back stops *good*
good for the .17 sit back and enjoy the long shots at your own pace

also looks great for ferreting nice open bits between the whin bushes

no was meaning rabbits at 200 yards with .17 hmr james its fun and dont often miss :wub:
