i been to my local gun shop they putting the price of shotgun carts to 6 .70 a box
because the price of lead
all round pigeon shooter and rabbit if it flies it dies
if it runs its guned

:( I would ring around and try and buy about 1000 a time just to see if you can get a better price. £6.70 - seem's pretty expensive to me. I can still buy them from the clay ground for about £4.50 per 25.

You dont have to go clay shooting to buy carts. Just call in and buy some and use them for rough shooting.

The prices of shotgun cartridges have gone up recently by 16% as you say due to the chinese buying lead, if you buy them in 250 boxes you should be paying about £35 for cheap clay cartridges (D&J etc) or about £42 for game thats £3.50 and £4.20 per box of 25, watch out for further price rises - I cant see the prices dropping.

unfotunatly i have a rather expencive taste in carts and the fact the prices have just gone up is a real pain in the bum. I spose it would be cheaper if i learnt to shoot straight lol.
£6.70 a box is a bit too expencive. i have now decided to go for the cheaper option and buy the cheaper carts.
