The dogs have been going nuts these last couple of nuts in the kennels.
I noticed that one of our refuse sacks had holes in the bottom.
I set the monarch trap at the bottom of the garden and caught the culprit.
One small rat.
Dogs were still going nuts again last night keeping the family and me awake throughout the night.
I checked the trap this morning and found these.

A total of nine.
All were dispatched with my Rapid 7 set at a safe distance of 30 yards.
Hopefully tonight will have a peaceful night.

James I purchased the trap about 7 years ago from deben.
They have shot up in price since I bought mine.
Here is the link

If you are going to build one yourself I can send you some pics and dimensions.
They are also brilliant for training the youngsters.

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that who cares? ....... He's a mile away and you've got his shoes!

Wow that's a cracking haul. I once caught a polecat ferret in a similar looking trap I had stacked straw bales on it and luckily for the ferret had to move them again the next day or so.
Mine was self setting - yours looks the same ?
