Budget gone up a bit then has it? :D

Maybe a Miroku, they are superb guns or a Beretta, I would have to put them up side by side and have a play, then it would depend on the fit and weight.
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that who cares? ....... He's a mile away and you've got his shoes!

have'nt used very many shotguns mate but i'm well impressed with my beretta semi auto. lovely gun to shoot.less recoil cos it uses the gasses to push the working parts back, you get a variety of chokes with the gun and you can use a wide range of cartridges with it. i can also have it stripped and cleaned in less than 15 minutes

I think you could choose between the various models of Browning Miroku and Beretta as DM said its all down to how it fits you, you will hit a lot more targets with a cheap gun that fits you ,than an expensive gun that dosnt !!.
Depending on the type of shooting you do, I dont think you could go far wrong with any of the above three with a 30" barrel over/under m/choke, I also like my Beretta 391 gas auto for clays and pigeon, but remember they dont like you on pheasant shoots with autos.
These gun vary rarely go wrong , thay hold their secondhand value and last a lifetime . *crow*
