ok so i am wondering if the snares i made out of the wire i just bought will work? plz comment thanx![]() ![]() this is my 1st type of snare ![]() ![]() this is the 2nd tell me if both would work and witch 1 ould b best and o yeah i will now tell u what the wire is it is 'Galvanized Wire' could any body tell me what this meens? ![]() this is the wire |

Galvanised just means zinc plated to stop it going rusty. I couldn't tell you if it will work for your snares tough, it may be a bit stiff. |

You can buy snares cheap enough, The ones you made could work, its just hard to say without having a closer look. |

I have found that the galv single strand wire's dont seam to lock up easily so they dont grab and hold you can buy proper snares ready made on ebay for peanuts these days. Rich. |

i have tried these on bunnies me and my uncle caught yesterday and the wire does not let loose The only way to get out is by a person holding the loop and pulling so it goes loose but the more the rabbit struggles or tries to walk back it get tighter then bends to shape so it cant get out thanx, Jake |

nope not even bumped.. i cant find any runs but ive been putting it over holes... is this ok? |

you want it on runs mate, follow the hole around walk early on a morning and you will find the runs when the ground is hard do not put it over holes. not a good idia mate |
