funny have just been looking at what the web says well, loads of anti's once again voicing there opinion against but NO people voicing their opinions "for", except the goverment and official bodies. This is why the anti's allways get thier own way, just another example of how townies with no idea of the countryside get their way and why the people for this and other issues should get together before it's too late. Just like what happened with hunting, a tradition that has been round for centuries and what will eventually happen to our sport if people don't get off their arses and do something to rally support and understanding, in this, as well as many other country issues before the country as a whole is brainwashed. by these do gooders but who in fact are "do badders" due to thier lack of understanding of all things country! well thats that off my chest I'll get off my off my soap box

A special licence can be obtained to control Badgers, but I don't think DEFRA will be using private pest control companies for this job.

Remington 700 CDL .243Win LH + Nikko Sterling Gameking + PES T12 Mod
CZ452 .22lr Amercan LH + Nikko Sterling Nite Eater + PH mod
Browning Silver Semi Auto m/c

DEFRA will use contractors whenever appropriate so I wouldn't dismiss the thought.

All bo***cks if you ask me , probably have to trap and humanely dispatch .
What stress will it go through being trapped , instead off a quick humane kill .

To put the story straight they will be trapping and shooting, they will use contractors or that is what I am lead to believe. Would we want to take this work on? Well I'll let you all decide for yourseves wether we would or not, but I have heard that Badger Bacon is somewhat of a delacasy. :P
