im after sum good quality snares for the farmer has had a lot of problems this year with foxes and i said i would buy some snares and try see if that works i use my terriers/guns to get rid of most of the foxes but it goes quiet for a cupple of days and there back again doing damage so i need some good snares all the best silenthunter *good* *good* |

where the foxes are cuming from theres a crop field then a ditch then it goes onto wooded area then a small field were the farmer rears sum red legged partridge and pheasants and i dont no were the fox's are cumin from bud put it this way mate i dig 5 out no problem for a cupple of days then its back to square 1 i have found 2 fox runs that runs both side of the pens fence defo fox mate footprints 100% surton but going to have a look on arthur carter and see how much they are i promised the farmer i sort the problem out so i aint going to let him down all the best mate thanks silenthunter.... *good* |

I suggest you get some "Breakaway" fox snares, ones that let "non-target" animals out, but keep hold of the Fox, (you don't want to snare a Badger and depending where in the country you are Muntjac can be a nusance and it is also possible to neck snare Roe) I almost exclusively use breakaway snares now, also deer stops aren't compulsary but I strongly reccomend them, as you never know. |

im from the midlands mate theres munjac,roe,fallow on the farm so going to be very careful but i havent seen any signs of brock around but i will get break away snares they are the ones that have got a stop on the wire aint them mate so the snare cant shut all the way all the best silenthunter........ *good* *good* |

No mate they are Deer stops, for if a deer gets a leg through the snare it won't close right up and will allow the Deer to kick free. What I'm on about is if you catch a non-target in your Breakaway, the eye of the snare itself fails and lets the non-target animal out. I'll try and dig some pictures out. |
