;) im looking for tips i need to set some fen traps or live catch traps they must be hidden whats the best way whats the best bait to atrack rats they are in a barn amongst the bailes but all traps must be hidden from the students that are on this farm |

FENNS must be in tunnels as the other thread explains but you ccan put good old rat traps in similar boxes. None of these are mine, but are just ideas I've collected from other forums and sites. If I could remember who I would credit them here. ![]() ![]()

Oh and I forgot - have a look HERE too. You might find the 'Tunnel Trapping' article useful as well. For FENNs in domestic situations I prefer the boxes that are shown at the bottom of that link. |

when setting a fen trap set the brass clip as fine as you canand it will go off quicker but watch the fingers as it stings a little ;) kirky i |

Hi all, my first post on here. Here is one I took today using a Modified Pro victor rat trap. Lucky to take her so early and prevent an infestation. ![]() ![]() ![]() You can see the damage done with these powerful traps ![]() A crushed skull is evidence of a very quick and humane kill ![]() Suckling young too ![]() All the best T |

The new snapperTrex traps work really well too, we have been using them to great effect with Peanut butter as bait. :) |
