Interesting Fish, I bet that whips hairs off your arm faster than a shed full of Immac !! I made a crossbow years ago using an old wooden coat hanger and 1/4" elastic, a GAT provided the trigger and it worked a treat.

Is there any glass left in that greenhouse ??

That looks very good, but did you just kill a dog or something when you shot that arrow down the garden? *aaaa*
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that who cares? ....... He's a mile away and you've got his shoes!

Hi Fish ,I,m new to this site ,and have been looking at stuff that interests me,and that is brilliant! :o

I like making things for myself ,and have been thinking for a while that I should make a catapult, and revist my youth, and your posts have realy inspired me.

Ive just last week ,got a bit of 6x150 alli flat bar, and was thinking of making a milbro style catapult from it,could you suggest some dimensions please? eg overall lenght, width of arms and depth of arms .

I,d copy my old milbro, but mum binned it over 20 odd years ago when i moved out  *crying*

mate draw a rough idea, then transfer to a bit of cardboard, draw round it onto your chosen material and go from there,as a rough guide 3 inches between the forks will do fine,if you want the strongest bands out there give me a shout. *Monkey Hanger*
