now this is 100% true....iv it hadnt just happned to me i wudnt believe it.....
i am stood with the shotty back to a hedge...lurcher tied to a post..spaniel sat at heel....waitin for a pigeon or crow to try its luck..there was a few birds millin about but nothin in range for bout 40 mins....a pigeon came past which i dropped then immediately turned my attention to the spaniel..to stop her running in....anyhow the lurcher starts goin ape....i looks up and to my suprise theres a fox leggin over towards the twichin pigeon..i swear the fekker was gunna pinch it!!anyhow in the chaos the spaniel was off and as i had roke the gun and only had 1 shell in anyway my rushed shot didnt hit home!!! i can only assume it to be a hungry vixen..and am not suggestin that it knew a pigeon was gunna drop out the sky or anything but it was just frikkin shocking!!!

Thats unusual, I've had a Goss hawk take a pigeon but never a fox.
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that who cares? ....... He's a mile away and you've got his shoes!

About 3 years ago now I shot a baby rabbit under the lamp, and a barn owl swooped down from a nearby tree and took it away. It's the only time I've ever even seen an owl carry anything in flight. Certainly great to see, and I would gladly give the barn owl population a hand if I could. Any body else come across this? My mate is convinced I made it up.

we had a badger one night lamping pick up a still twitching rabbit and run off with it, looked like a queerish gundog running wiith its head up.
