As some of you might remember I have been setting a Larsen trap in the back garden for a number of years and Magpie numbers have noticeably fallen leading to higher numbers of finches and song bird in general. I left the trap set with a "nest" complete with some hen's eggs as bait and today when I checked what had I caught ?

I have caught squirrels, cats and I think this is my second fox - I did of course take it out of the trap.......... ***wist***

Never hit a man with glasses. Hit him with a baseball bat!

Don't let your mind wander - it's too little to be let out alone!

How did you guess ? In fact, and keep this to yourself, I've kept it ready to take down to John Robson to replace the recently deceased and much missed "Nibbles" ***fox**** ......he'll be so pleased.

That's a lovely thing to do, but much a more loving home you would struggle to find!
