Well, I think that it should be the time we finally talk about them.

They should be our equivalent of the 30 Years War so to say, though we should try to make them as original as possible.

Let's start with what we have until now.

The wars are supposed to last roughly from 1550 to 1650. They would have a lot of causes, but the "official" one, as propagated by the nations of the time, was religion. That is still something that we have to discuss. Nevertheless, it is clear that one side will be the fanatic and Vayonist, the Holy League of the Sun, led by Thrace. Then we have Celibrae's heresy that happens somewhere in the middle, but since most of the nations taking part have declared that they are still Vayonist in the present day, we must find another religious issue for the rest of us.

The actual even to spark the beginning of the war will most likely be Thrace inheriting or getting through marriage control of Topsail, and the subsequent Thracian attempts to establish the Imperial rule over it, which led to a first rebellion in Topsail, and the Thracian Monarchy sending military forces there, through Ichoria. This led to a formal alliance between Thrace and Ichoria, and to an attempt of their combined forces to conquer territory in the north, which would have led to them surrounding Kathmandue on both sides.

Another scenario that we discussed in the past would happen a few good decades after the beginning of the wars, the Conquest of the East, an attempt of Thrace to take control over Reismov, which would end in failure and the death of the Thracian Emperor. Thrace would then be submitted to the rule of the Ichorian princess that was the Empress of Thrace, as Empress Regent of the one that will become Charles the Great. This would be the period in which Thrace would nearly be defeated, including a Siege of Veranium, that fails in the end.

Then Charles crowns himself Emperor of Thrace, and King of Ichoria, and well, this is the part that we didn't discuss yet, but Thrace and Ichoria basically win, Charles crowns himself as Emperor of Elyria, and establishes a dominance of Thrace, Ichoria, and their allies for the rest of his reign.

But after he dies, Thrace crumbles under financial debts, nobles rebel, and his successor is a fanatic Vayonist, and an impulsive ruler. He destroys the empire that his father had built. Topsail gains his independence, Ichoria rebels, the Thracian Armada is probably ruined on the sea by Celibrae, and the Imperial Army ends up in a devastating defeat, that like the Battle of Rocroi, would end the dominance of the tercio formations.

And well then, history continues.

1550-1650 you say?
That's a long time but also quite nice to start my heresy.
Totenheim should be in religious uproar ever since 1415. If the Totenheim nobility can get allies against the radical vayonists then they would instantly convert to the Blutkirche.
-> Ceases most religious uproar.
-> Becomes Target for Vayonists
I do plan on being quite a pain militarily but get my nation, similar to the HRE, laid to waste. Anyone up for laying siege to Totburg (Prague)?
For me as a result I'd like to cede territories to Kathmandue and Grothbord while gaining religious freedom as long as the freedom of Vayonism is ensured in Totenheim.
Ah plague and maybe famine during the wars would also be quite nice.
And leave Grothbord's HRE.
