Trying to run the game after re-installing, it keeps coming up with "Couldn't load mpdefault.cfg". Anyone able to help? |

does mpdefault.cfg exist in either your GameData/ folder or your GameData/base folder? |

This is a solution if the game was pulled form the CD. In this event, the answerer assumed that the contents of the gamedata/base folder was corrupted, and by replacing it the game could successfully load it. This may well be the issue, but as Nathan just said, it is a fresh install so I wouldn't be too sure. Nathan, I believe mpdefault.cfg should be in your gamedata/base or gamedata folder. If it is not present in either of them, redownload the game and drag it across. You may see the same message for other .cfg files, and you'll need to keep dragging and dropping them until the game loads for you. |
