For some reason, every time I open up JKJA through Steam, the game loads up perfectly fine but the jke mod itself does not open whatsoever. I click on "play_JKE" and that just takes me straight to JKJA's normal multiplayer screen, not the legacy mod screen. My computer screwed up recently and I've only just been able to fix it, and I've had to re-install everything. I also got JKJA through Steam this time, so things might be a little different. I've downloaded the jke mod, put everything in Gamedata as I'm supposed to, but still nothing. Any help, guys? EDIT: Fixed by myself, but I can't see any people's skins. Everyone literally comes up as Kyle. I have all pk3 files in base folder, and I am able to use my own skins. Anyone know the issue? Edited by Jax, May 1 2014, 04:26 PM.

I know this might be difficult, but when you load up the mod, you see a console screen with yellow writing. If you can take a ninja quick screenshot of that, we might have an idea why the mods aren't loading. |

it's not the mod anymore, rather the skins. Everyone keeps showing up as Kyle Katarn and its really irking me. I have all pk3 files downloaded, unzipped, and placed in base folder. Any ideas? edit: Also tried pressing tab which usually refreshes skins, and that didn't work either. I'm stumped. Edited by Jax, May 1 2014, 08:48 PM.

No skins? That implies that the base folder is being read at all, which implies a problem with the configuration of your installation. I'd recommend reinstalling if I'm honest. |

It sounds like you have 'Force Player Models' turned on. Go to Game Options and make sure that it's turned off. |
