Welcome to my forum. The forums are private forums. They are here mainly as a point of self reference and aims to contain articles pointing to external sources relating mainly to Linux based articles. In a way it will act as a giant reference point. I don't expect a rush of users by any means (if any!) but new users are always welcome to register, accounts are set to be vetted by Email and also by Administration as part of spam prevention measures. The rules are very minimal here - 1 - No Spamming 2 - No trolling, flaming or bullying towards other members. 3 - No discussions of items relating to religion, war, or politics. 4 - No links or posts related to the following:
And the reason for rule 3: The reason for this is very simple, it is nothing related to my own political or religious views, but down to the simple fact that discussions of this nature are A) Naff all to do with Linux B) Very hard to moderate as where to draw the line is never clear. Any post of this nature will be removed. The forums are supported by adverts, I have no intention of paying to remove these. They are minimal and are not disruptive. The only other thing I do ask is that you use the English language on this board. Please be clear in what you post and do not use text talk during conversations. Plain English is quite sufficient! And remember, as site owner and admin I retain the right for the final say in any matters! |
