Technically, the most powerful person in Siujun is Yani Li Zhong, a member of the Rising Sun Party (A center-right libertarian blah blah blah. Description from my wiki here of the party:

The Rising Sun Party is notable for it's free market policies. Ex-Prime Minister Siuming Liu, who belonged to the Rising Sun Party also signed a legislation passing the legalization of same-sex marriage. Internationally, the Rising Sun Party is against Sorgani occupation of the Chentu (Mordabad) Region, and is a staunch opponent of Mataniya's Nationalist Party. It also wishes to increase ties with Ebatica, Gellespie, Arumdaum, and Nakhon. The Party controls about 50% of Parliament. The current Prime Minister, Yani Li Zhong, is a member of this party.

Although Zhong DOES have the power of veto, Parliament can overrun her decision with a 4/6th vote.

Racism is no longer an issue in Siujun. Although there are generally a few old anti-white crackpots who sometimes march against Parliament, the younger populace is often more Worldly.

- - -

In the past five years, the Siujunese Armed forces have only taken part in two wars in the past 70 years- the Caolunese Civil War and the on-going invasion of Shirah Mataniya. Although the Siujunese army did march into Caolun, it was to establish peace and pave the way for the League of Lucerna to come in (one of the League's actual successes.) The invasion of Mataniya is still going on.

- - -

The primary crop grown in Siujun is tea (specifically the stereotype, black tea). Siujun is the largest producer of tea in Lucerna. However, the tea plantations are usually owned by rich farmers who use an immigrant workforce (many Caolunese who took asylum in Siujun during it's war). There are many rules regarding the working conditions of migrants, however, minimum wage in that field is low compared to other nations like Arumdaum.

- - -

A very common dish in Siujun is something called Jok (Pronounces 'JOOK'). It is a rice porridge that is often eaten at breakfast. Condiments vary, from tofu, to fish, to chicken, to peanuts. Another dish is Jong, sometimes eaten at luncheon (although it is not often eaten nowadays). It is 'sticky' rice containing chicken/tofu/beef (etc) cooked in banyan leaves.

What percent of Zeribian immigrants reside in Siujun and or percent of?

I know I've asked just about everyone this, you're probably the last person I'm going to ask this: Brezanism, is it a thing in Siujun/ a party established, people like it, hate it?

Religious stats? If, say Christian or Buddhist, what denomination? I'm not even sure if they call it denominations for Buddhists but you got the idea :P .

The Zeribianese percent of immigrants in Siujun is about 0.8%, a smaller minority. Many Zeribianese immigrants to Siujun live in the major cities, specifically Tai Song.

There is a small Brezanist Party in Siujun, although it generally receives few votes. In general, people think it's pretty much just fascism. Parliament itself regards Zeriabo as 'dictatorial hereditary state.'

Christianity is the main religion in Siujun, arriving in 400 AD from Corumese Missionaries. Previously, the people living in the area had worshipped local deities. The religion became extremely popular. However, Buddhism arrived from Timphthu only seven hundred years later. However, the Yi Dynasty, in power at the time regarded converts to Buddhism as heretics, and burned them at the stake. Many converts fled south into more remote areas. After the Yi fell from power, the next Dynasty allowed Buddhist converts to practice their religion in peace. After that, other missionaries from Arumdaum brought in Jainism and Taoism and Islam was brought from Sorgan. They became slightly popular. However, Christianity still remained the dominant religion.

Demographics:

61% Christian (mainly Lutheranism and Presbyterianism)
18% Buddhist (Particulary the Mahayana and Thervada Schools)
6% Taoist
5% Jainist
4% Agnostic
1% Atheist
5% Other

What are the ethnic demographics of Siujun?

Siujunese is home to a variety of Lucernan East Asian cultures, however, Resolution 221 that was passed in 2011 by Prime Minister Siuming Liu tightened and constricted immigration into Siujun (which is widely controversial and heavily criticized by the Free People's Party). However, Caolunese refugees are allowed to seek asylum.

87% Siujunese (Han Chinese/Cantonese Chinese/Vietnamese/Tibetan)
4% Arumdaummu
4% Caolunese
3% Nakhonese
1% Caucasian (Kyzylistani, Klowrian, Sevillan, etc)
1% Arab/African/Native American/Pacific Islander/etc I need to edit this later once I get a few more things fleshed out >_<)

Is Siujun a federation, unitary state, or other?

Siujun is a federation, Fiefdom laws (Fiefs are the equivalents of provinces/states) override federal laws.

Is there a national/federal sales tax?

There is no federal sales tax except on seafood. Fiefdoms DO have a very low sales tax though (about 0.2%).

How long has the Rising Sun Party held the office of Prime Minister?

When did it form?

The Rising Sun party formed in 1951 after a schism in Aigou Siujun (Patriotic Siujun). It stood for more freedom in the civil right's area, and a libertarian way to approach economics. At that time, Patriotic Siujun had held power for a very long time, and had become almost borderline authoritarian.

When was the last time another party held power?

When is the next general election?

The next general election will be on September 5th in 2014, as terms are 2 years long for Prime Ministers. However, there is an election every year for representatives in Parliament.

What kinds of voting styles does Siujun use?

Many citizens go to polling places to vote, however, many are starting to vote using absentee ballots.
