After seeing how Aisinbira's Q&A has helped me flesh it out significantly, I thought I'd give Guaranda it's own since I haven't done much with it. So as the description says help me flesh it out by asking questions.

Yes, since early colonization and the end of the Great War, Guaranda was a large cash-crop and agricultural commodities exporter. Even today, Guaranda is known for it's agro-businesses.

Amerindian's make up approximately 6% of Guaranda's population, however the Guarandine is internationally criticized for it's historic ill-treament of it's native people. Most notably, the Guarandine Hinterland Security Statute which established martial law and direct federal rule after the increasingly violent Qichwan-funded JFG began to expand, which is still in place today. The largest native group is the Jivarío, with 1.8 million people.
