What is the general climate of Caolun like? Are there any mineral resources which Caolun possesses in abundance?

What are the ethnic demographics? What are the religious demographics? What percentage of the population was born outside of Caolun?

What is the general climate of Caolun like?

In order to answer this question fully, we probably all need to figure out Amesu's overall climate and all that jazz.. However, I'm hoping to have it be mainly flat and arid with harsh winters and summers.

Are there any mineral resources which Caolun possesses in abundance?

Caolun possesses a large amount of oil and gas reserves, in the center of [insert name here] Desert. However, these have been over exploited by companies, with non-existent regulations on environmental protection. It also houses substantial gold mines in the north-west.

What are the ethnic demographics?

Caolunese: 52.8%
Manchurian: 18.2%
Arumdaun: 17.8%
Siujunese: 2.2%
Other: 10%

What are the religious demographics?

Non-religious: 67.8%
Buddhist: 31.2%
Other: 1%

What percentage of the population was born outside of Caolun?

Because Caolun has [recently] not been a very desirable immigration hot-spot, approximately 8% have been born outside of the country - mainly in Mianjing.

What causes the non-Caolunese population to be so high?

Caolun used to be an Empire of sorts, so there are large minorities in different areas around the country.
