What were the original languages spoken in Elwha? Was it colonized by Siujun? If so, when? When did the country gain its independence? What are the ethnic demographics of Elwha? Is Elwha's eastern border a mountain range? How often does it rain in Elwha? What is the capital city? What is its population? Is it along the coast? |

What were the original languages spoken in Elwha? Originally, thousands of native dialects were spoken all over the land, however, Lushootseed and Chinook Jargon (to interact with Siujunese traders) became the primary. Was it colonized by Siujun? If so, when? When did the country gain its independence? Elwha was discovered in 1498. It was first colonized by Siujunese men c. 1502, by Imperial Proclamation. In the beginning, it was a small collection of villages located on the Duwamish peninsula, and conduct with the natives was friendly. However, that began to change as more and more colonists began moving in, erupting into a series of conflicts. The natives who resisted were eventually moved into the remote north Around 1830, tensions began to rise between colonists and Siujun's Jiong Dynasty. The Jiong refused to allow Elwha to trade with another nation besides Siujun, and felt that the mother nation no longer considered it's interests. Therefore, in 1840, it declared independence and a war ensued. What are the ethnic demographics of Elwha? Elwha's population is generally made up of a 'Creole' sort of race, a mix between natives and Siujunese. There are significant minorities of Arumdaun and others... that I need to figure out. 31.2% Creole 38.8% Native 15% Siujunese 15% A big mix of other that I need to figure out. Is Elwha's eastern border a mountain range? How often does it rain in Elwha? Yes, Elwha's eastern border is a mountain range - the Shanyue mountains. Generally, Elwha gets about 36 inches of rain a year, due to it's wet climate. What is the capital city? What is its population? Is it along the coast? The capital city of Elwha Clamathet, located on Jiong Bay. The population of Elwha is around 11 million people, yes, mainly concentrated along the south coast. However, much of it's native population lives in the north. A lovely photo of Clamathet
