Bio: Designed as a refit of one GGS's best selling private starships, the Aspasia is a prime example of their ability to fit the ship to the customer's needs to the letter. Originally designed to essentially be a mobile apartment, this one has been refurnished to resemble a luxurious consort's office as well as her living quarters. Behind the cockpit, the living and working space is completely open, leaving little space for privacy once inside, besides the bathroom, which has also been expanded and upgraded. In the main living quarters, the standard queen-sized bed has been replaced with a large circular one, draped with dark blue sheets and framed by a glimmering, transparent silver veil. In the corner closest to the bed a couch and chair are set into the wall with a knee-high table set between them. The wall furthest from the bed is home to a small kitchenette, which is separated from the main living area by a serving bar. While the kitchenette is pretty standard in terms of appliances, it has been furnished with white marble counter tops and wood flooring from tree species found on Thessia that have a soft shade of blue. In the wall opposite from the cockpit resides the bathroom, which has been floored with marble that is tinged with a soft shade of pink that also composes the counters. The walls are a light metallic purple that reflects the light and gives the room a gentle aura when it gets steamy. Rather than simply having a single faucet to spraying water from the wall, the shower has been equipped with shower heads set to rain water directly from the ceiling down onto the user, as well as from the walls so that they may be washed from all sides at once, though the various faucets can be turned on or off by the push of a button from inside the shower. The door of the shower is a translucent, wavy glass, and in place of the purple metal finish on the inside wall of the shower, it is dominated by a mirrored wall that has been layered so as not to fog from the steam. Soap dispensers have also been set into one of the walls of the shower so as not to be in the way of the user. At the far end of the bathroom is a door that leads to the engineering section of the ship, though it only needs to be accessed in the event of a malfunction, as the majority of the ships functions can be accessed from the cockpit. Genelev-Class corvettes are designed with a series of Guardian Laser turrets along its sides to defend against enemy fire long enough to activate its FTL capabilities, as it was designed as a civilian luxury vessel. As it is designed for both short and long term voyages, it has been equipped with an auto-pilot feature, which allows for a course to be plotted into the ship's computer, after which the operator may walk away from the controls. The pilot is notified if manual control is required, such as for an incoming vessel, interstellar object, and for takeoff, landing, or docking. The airlock for the vessel is located next to the kitchenette and offers a decontamination cycle upon entry and exit from the craft. Genelevs are equipped with a VI interface, though one has not yet been loaded into this model. |
