![]() Polu'Moana (Blue Ocean) Restaurant Location: Moku Republic, Mohana, Lana Owner: Lanua T'Namal Notable Employees: None currently Opened: 1768 Description: Combining impressive views of the coral reefs, ocean floor and underwater sea life from it's floor to ceiling windows, the finest in contemporary and classic Mohana cuisine, and impeccable service, dining at the Polu'Moana Restaurant is an exceptional experience for both residents and visitors to the floating city of Lana. Executive Chef Lana T'Namal and her staff use the freshest fish, produce and ingredients from Mohana's waters and islands as well as carefully selected imported ingredients from around the galaxy to create the restaurant's award winning dishes. The Polu'Moana Restaurant is located on the third, and lowest, underwater level of the floating city of Lana. Seating is available in either the main restaurant, the more casual lounge area, or guests can reserve one of three private dining rooms available for smaller parties of up to twenty. Guests are encouraged to make advance reservations to avoid long waits or unavailable seating at the restaurant, reservations can be made up to two months in advance. Menu: Polu'Moana Restaurant is pleased to offer Earth style sushi and ceviche to it's guests in addition to traditional Mohana cuisine offerings. Sushi was first developed in the Earth nation of China and then spread to the island nation of Japan, it reached it's contemporary form between 1799–1858 (Earth Date Years) and then spread across Earth to the nations of Europe and what is currently the American Union. Polu'Moana's traditionally trained sushi chefs offer both Japanese and Western styles of nigri-sushi, maki-sushi and temaki-sushi made with locally caught fish and designed to appeal to both Asari and Human palates. Ceviche is a Earth seafood dish originating in the coastal cities of South America and Polynesia which is made from uncooked fish which is marinated in citric juices such as lemons or limes from Earth and then spiced with peppers. Vegetables specifically chosen to complement the flavors of the ceviche accompany the main dish.
