"I know he's around here somewhere." Riku spoke aloud to himself. It had been a while since he had been on his own without Kai and he'd be lying if he said he wasn't nervous. It was unimaginable that someone would feel comfortable when essentially drained of a portion of their power. But he felt he could manage. He himself had attained immense power over the years and it would take a lot to stop him, or so he felt. "I can feel you." He called out softly into the forest, his eyes glowing in the night, creating a total of three moons.

A thick mist rolled in rapidly, creeping in through the trees. A grin spread across Riku's face as his wings briefly flared out to either side in challenge. "What took you?"

"What business do you have so close to my village?" Satoshi's voice echoed from everywhere within the mist.

"I have to admire you for coming out here yourself. Without ANBU too. Impressive. You're a lot like me." A presence appeared from seemingly nowhere behind Riku. His heart nearly skipped a beat. How could such a thing happen? This man had a great level of skill, but Riku possessed more. With nothing more than a thought, he teleported ten feet forward, turning to face his assailant just as the massive blade known as Eminent Calamity slammed into the dirt where Riku had been standing less than a second ago. "You're the first to sneak up on me. And I'm not just saying that." He relished in combat, enjoying the fact that he many be very well getting a challenge. Yet at the same time his heart continued to hammer in his chest, his adrenaline racing as a hint of fear set in.

The Sharingan locked on Riku and, for a moment, Satoshi felt lost. His chakra was unlike anything he had ever seen and it felt as if it were pulling him in. It had a profound effect on his rain as well as it created a blind spot. Though Satoshi could still tell where Riku was because of it, it didn't not feel like a chakra source. Instead it felt as if his own chakra were being pulled in. Just what was this man?

With his hands outstretched, Riku created six black orbs of chakra which rose up of their own accord and began to float around his back in a circle. As Satoshi eyed each of them, he felt the same odd property. These were constructs of pure chakra, but could it even be called chakra? It surely didn't feel like it. Two more orbs rose and, before they could escape the palms of his hands, he closed his hands around them. Ninjato of the black chakra formed instantly and, with incredible speed, he charged forward. Had it not been for Satoshi's Sharingan, he may not have even seen it coming.

The massive blade he held was brought up and Riku's dual ones collided. "Struggling to keep up?" The dark one taunted. Satoshi's feet planted firmly in the ground and all of his weight was pushed into the sword. Though his opponent might have an advantage in speed, the Uchiha surely excelled in strength as he pushed Riku back. Chakra was pumped into Eminent Calamity and the blade was made lightweight as he brought it to his side, ready for a wide horizontal sweep. And so he did, increasing the weight of the blade as he did so.

Yet one of the orbs along Riku's back moved quickly just as he began to stumble, forming into a 4 foot circular barrier which blocked the attack, giving him enough time to recover. As the barrier closed in on itself, Riku stood at the other side, left hand held out with his palm facing Satoshi. An orb of chakra moved to his hand and his palm opened in a wide circle, the orb floating perfectly in the center. Its moon-like glow intensified and a pinpoint beam of chakra shot out, piercing Satoshi in the right shoulder close to his collar bone, shattering it.

He fell back, holding his chest in pain, panting. As the beam had entered him, he could feel not only his chakra being sapped but what he felt to be himself. It felt like torture and that little wound had taken so much out of him. "Done already?"

Tadashi knew something had was wrong. The village seemed quite today, more so than any other. Though he had plans for training this afternoon with his sensei, Satoshi was nowhere to be found. He wandered up to the Kage tower one last time, and searched for the Mizukage. He opened the door to the balcony, and off in the distance, Tadashi caught something. "The fog..." He knew the Mizukage was able to turn into and move through mist at will, and he never used the ability outside a dangerous situation. Knowing this, Tadashi jumped off the balcony and darted off towards the fog, with his sharingan gleaming in his eyes.

He moved as quick as he could to his Sensei's side, and when he arrived, something had caught him off guard. A strange man in white stood across from the Mizukage. Something about him was off, though. His eyes could read something about this man, something bad. It was as if this man was some sort of void, pulling him closer, but to what, he did not want to find out. As he came closer to the fight, he saw as the Mizukage fell to the ground, and in that single moment, all of Tadashi's rage had exploded out of him.

"Noooo!!!" He howled, Flickering towards the attacker. With great ferocity, Tadashi unleashed a fist full of fire, landing in between Satoshi and this strange man. Asking no questions, Tadashi only acted. His hands shuttered as he formed seals to unleash a torrent of fire.

Riku's eyes flitted to his left as another notable presence grew nearer. Backup? Or chance? Interested to see how this developed, he waited until the boy entered the battlefield. A moment passed as he watched the boy's crimson eyes assess the situation. Wait... Crimson? An Uchiha?

As what had transpired began to set in, Tadashi howled and flames erupted from both hands and feet. "Tadashi! Stop!" Satoshi called out. This man was something else. Something Tadashi was not prepared to face.

Another orb floated before Riku without any visible effort and formed a barrier. The flames from Tadashi's jutsu impacted it, dispersing to either side. They were uncontrolled and wild but their intensity was undeniable. Had he not supplied the barrier with extra chakra, they might have broken through. As the flames finally vanished, so did the barrier. Riku remained in a casual stance, eyes boring into the Uchiha. "What's your name, Uchiha?" He asked, curiosity heavy in his voice.

Tadashi stood in a readied stance, but took heed to the words of his master. If this man possessed enough power to cripple the Mizukage, then what could a mere chuunin do against such odds. It was a scary thought, but he did his best to remain calm. "My name is Tadashi Uchiha, Chuunin of Kirigakure." He spoke proudly.

His eyes began to flicker with rage as the Sharingans energy fueled him. He did not drop his guard, but perhaps this was not the place for a fight. "Who are you, and what are you doing here?" He asked, getting straight to the point. He had to know what this man was after, and he had to make sure him and Satoshi would get out of this situation alive.
