Dear all,

I would like to share with you my little thought on Martin Luther King Jr.,who is depicted in the picture on the "Good Writing of the Month" board.

Your remarks on this piece of writing are always whole-heartedly welcomed. Thank you. ^_^
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The picture depicts a vivid portrait of Martin Luther King Jr.-an eminent activist and great leader in the African-American Civil Rights Movement. He is well-known for his best endeavour in abolishing the residential discrimination in the United States of America. Born on January 15, 1929 and through his civil rights activist life, he exclusively employed non-violence as a mean for all of his humanitarian activities. Impressively enough, one of his best feats is his speech known as “I have a dream” delivered at the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom on August 28, 1963. And in that speech with loud and dignified voice, my heart is moved by one of his statements that he wanted his four children not to be judged by the colour of their skin but by the content of their character. An admirable man led an admirable life when, in every minute, he was always devoted himself to making life better for others. Yet life is not easy for anyone when things he had done just brought him more enemies and his precious life was ended in an assassination in 1968. Heart-broken as we would feel but his fame remains immortal for eternity.
