Good job. Both Mr. Tuấn & Ms Như are worth one yellow wonderpoint each for their detailed presentation as well as striking criticism leading to more prolongation.

Dear Mr Tuan!
Frankly, your presentation was very good. Time for preparation was too short (just 2 days) but you took care of your job in details:
- Charts for evidence.
- Outline for being easy to follow.
- Definition for some technical terms so it saved much time for all audiences.

Your speech was very smoothly and fluently, you didn't need to read in your paper sheets. I think that is a professional style of a professional leader.
However, nothing is totally perfect, there are still some defects as bellow:
-As Ms Ngoc commented that: the figures in your charts were out of date. I also agree and sympathize with you that it’s difficult to figure out a contemporary material. However, to make your presentation more perfect and there would be no objection to you, before starting your task, just tell us: imagine those figures for 2012.
-On the second chart, you mentioned about the concentration of Benzen, Toluen, Xylen in each area. As I said that before, maybe most of us don’t know how harmful they are( so it necessary to talk some information about them).

Now I move on questions for you. As our teacher said that the more we gave comments and question, the more we helped our friends. This is the reason why I attacked you( it was also the first, since you’re very good, so I tried to fight as well as improve myself.
I think in our life, there’s nothing right or wrong, just which one is more logical, more convincing. So now, please fight against me.

1/Improve Traffic activities:
Check conditions and quality of vehicles
-->if they are not good, buy another one, Government will support.
- I think it’s impossible to imitate the management of developed countries: in these countries, citizens have to buy new vehicle after a period given before (for ex 20 years or 30 years, with this time of using, there are something which could affect on their life or environment, so they have to buy another one.) In these countries, it’s very easy to purchase a new one since price is cheap, and they can buy on hire purchase. But Vietnam is a developing country, we are so poor. It’s so difficult to buy another vehicle because cost is so expensive and I think the Government budget is not enough to support this action.

Another things: the main factors causing air pollution is exhaust from vehicle not vehicle--> so i think it's a sheer waste of money to mobilize money and manpower to check the quality of vehicle

2/ Public transportation: use bus, bicycle, reduce motors
-->Use bus: I doubt the feasibility of this plan because of some reasons below:
-Formerly, your colleague - a leader of Ministry of Communication and Transportation, published a decree to demand every official of this ministry go by bus one day per week to set an example for citizens so as to reduce traffic jam. However, after that, he admitted that he himself couldn’t do it and this decree was gone with the wind.

-In my opinion, going by bus is really inconvenient because nowadays, we live in a modern society, we have more relationship and more need to do. Every day, we have to go to some places, not just from home to school, home to office and go back.
ex: After work , I need to buy some book in a book store, then I have a drink with my friend, on the way I go home, my parents call me to buy a load of bread--> at least, it takes me 4 turns. And as you know, we can’t take a bus immediately, we need to wait in a fews minutes--> waste of time and uncomfortable.

-I assume that at the first time, many people follow you so you need to offer more buses. Do you think that in VN, our infrastructure is not good, streets are still narrow, and most of buses try to go fast, to dodge… to arrive at the main station on time. If now, motorbikes still exist, the amount of buses is increase-->traffic jam will be heavier.

The last thing I want to share with you is the reason why your answer couldn’t convince me:
-I think to resolve any problem, we need to make continuous question to figure out a root cause and try to find out a solution to solve it. With your solution- slowing down the process of urbanization. I totally think that it’s not a solution, just you can’t control, fix it so you ban it. You should consider benefits of our country. In this case:
--> Why does the urbanization cause dust pollution? Because the more we urbanize, the more construction site, roadwork, the more dust
-->Why does dust cause dust pollution? Because they fly out to the air
-->Why can they fly out to the air? Because we construct in the open air. It’s easy to fly out, especially when there is a wind.
With the last question, I think I know the root cause and it’s not difficult to solve it.

Now, I'm looking forward to seeing your presentation next time. Have a nice day, and prepare argument to "defeat" me.

As said, It is a good presentation from you. Good preparation gives you the confidence in presenting to the public. Grasping well the sense and the orientation of what to be said drives the discourse to a smooth sequence. This is the very indispensable factor in making speeches in public. More than that, the hand-out including preview would help, really, Bravo!
However, there were so many things too ideal and it seemed we were confused about our starting point. First, what we are doing is whether "improving an existing city" or "building up a new good city avoiding at most the errors and faults from our current one"? According to the disourse, we were of the 1st situation concerning Air Pollution which caused mainly by Dust and by Smoke (exhaust).
Next, the matter of Dust caused MAINLY by URBANIZATION in rush seemed to appear at the latest minute. It did not display clearly on the hand-out or it might be implied? From that point, the criticism drives into another direction. "Should we slow down urbanization?". Urbanization is the social  process whereby cities grow and societies become more urban, more industrial or city-like. That is the obvious development for any countries, no way to slow it down until reaching perfect standards. What constitutes a city vary from place to place based on the population, on social conditions, non agricultural to labor ratio, services, construction and commerce density, etc (Ref. Decision 62/2011/NĐ-CP enforced from 25/9/2011)
Moreover, please double check to see whether the solutions given were convincible or not! Let's start with the idea of "moving the polluting companies" against "just improving them by installing Dust collectors(*)". In fact, the pictures attached are to introduce some of the things been compelled to be equipped in any industrial factories. That is, they are quite possible for use in construction work.
Another matter:"Getting away all outdated vehicles causing pollution" is also not easy to be applied even there have been clear regulations according to Article 4 of the Decision 95/2009/NĐ-CP,

Concerning Proof and Evidence, which cannot be lacking in any reasoning or argument, please note one extremely important thing: makeshift materials, data or information ruins our work. qnhu133 and ngoc are reasonable when pointing out the chart and data offered!
After all, "Feasibility" is what we HAVE TO think before any action. For Your Information (FYI), in civilized countries, to be safe from objection, any public projects have to be published so that everyone in the country can read and comprehend, and then the projects will follow the process of the declaration for public hearing - The citizens will be invited in an official event to give their comments - at a fixed date. Any details from a project opposed by the public will be revised, remade (or may be changed / deleted) until the council President realizes that the project should be either forgotten since it is not adopted by the people in the city or it is given for vote when everything goes through.

Good luck ang go ehead :s

Here is mine

I am impressed by your speech. You show us how professional you are by preparing outlines for listeners and speaking very fluently and smoothly. In addition, your speech structure is quite logical, you start first with the introduction of air pollution, and then come to its effects, point out the reasons and finally base on the reasons given to build the solutions for the environment. Thanks to those, it is easy for me to understand your whole speech.
However, there are some points that I do not agree with you
-First, it is a good idea when you put some charts for evidence of over pollution in Ho Chi Minh city. However, the data given are unconvincing because of following reasons:
+ They are out of date (the data is from 1999 to 2006)
+ They are unsuitable (the data must be about the place you mention)
+ They are not easy to understand to us – the citizen (I think it will be better if you use some specific numbers to let us know how air pollution effect to the health of people living in Ho Chi Minh city)
-Second, it is about your solutions (I understand that the solutions are for the environmental situation in Vietnam):
+ You suggest a lot of solutions, however, I am afraid that it takes a lot of money and a very long time to do. For example, your first two solutions are removing air polluting factories and gathering factories in an industrial park. Do you know how many factories we have? How much money and how much time we need to remove and gather the factories? While, you mention that the air pollution in our country is now at alarming levels. Moreover, when removing the factories how do you solve unemployment problem?
+ You mention that urbanization causes environment pollution, and your solution is slowing down the urban grow. I absolutely agree with your solution. Here, I just add some details to explain why urbanization causes pollution. You say that dust from construction works fly into the air and cause polluted air, but I think the main reason is the overpopulation of the city when there is the movement of a large population from rural to urban. And overpopulation is responsible for the pollution of environment by overusing energy and natural resource.
-My final comment is about your body language. Your facial expressions, your gesture are great but your body posture is not appropriate. You play a role as a minister but the way you stand when you are talking is a little bit impolite (such as folding your arms, putting your hands on your hips).

That is my idea for your speech, please let me know what you think. Thank you.

Dear Mr.Tuan,
your speech was very good both substance and form.
+ Substance is complete : problems, effects, reasons and solutions.
+form is very clear, u use chart, number to explain ur reasons and make comprative about pollutiong each chart.
your presentation was very good, too.
+ u speak E naturally and fluently.
+ new words u explained which were easy to understand => i think that ur vocabulary is very plentiful.
+ the way u expressed ur ideas was professional and logical. it was really convince me.,
But I just wonder about ur solutions.
In industrial activities, you suggest that we should remove air polluting factories. I think ur way is good but it's impossible because:
+ factories were built at fixed positions-> remove them is very difficult
+ many employees are working and living there-> big problem: how can you remove them?
+U said that " I'll invest money to improve this problem ( give money, ensure living condition for them....)-> another issue: how much will u invest for ur plan? Can you image?.....
This is my opinions.:))

hj, I am the last one. h:
Your speech was very good, your note makes me understand easily and clearly. Howerver, I want to give some ideas:
- I think that you should give example how does smoke pollution affect residents living next to factories (I think smoke includes emission from factories so It affects people's life who live near factories, for example: emission -> acid rain -> destroy people's house...)
- In your solution, you want to remove factories to other place, I think it's not good. I think that you should resolve smoke from factory, it's better than you remove it( solve emission/smoke from factories to save our environment, our life)
