Bigfoot is a boss in NLC that has 32m HP and gives 2.66m exp on 1x. This is what he looks like:![]() Some info about him: -There are 8 places where he can spawn. I will go into more detail about this later. -At LV 110, he requires 137 accuracy to hit 100% of the time. -His Knock-Back damage requirement is 2000. -He has 2 ways to damage you: A magic damage attack that deals 500 damage on you with no magic defense. This attack is negligible and is not his real source of damage. His touch damage, the damage you have to worry about, can hit anywhere between the low 12k to the high 12k range with almost no defense. -From what I've seen, if he is aggressive, he will always stop in front of you and use the magic attack. If you lag, he might run over you and kill you. -If he is passive, he will disregard you and may run over you. -Unlike other bosses, he has I-Frames after attacking him for a short time. This is what makes it really hard to fight him. -This also applies to his magic attack. For the later duration of his magic attack, you might not hit him. With these in mind, Bigfoot must be killed in a certain way in order to ensure that the maximum DPS is being dealt to him at all times. But a few things to mention before I talk about the strategies for each class. What do you mean by pinning Bigfoot? When Bigfoot is pinned, he will do this: ![]() If you don't see what he's doing, he is running towards the wall. This is the easiest time to deal damage on him. If you don't deal any damage to him, after a second or 2, he will "unpin" himself and start chasing you. Some classes can pin him easily, although some classes struggle too much with it that it's not worth it. I will mention later which classes should pin it. Bigfoot's Knock-back Animation. 1st Part ![]() 2nd Part ![]() If you get the Knock-Back Animation, it means that he did not use his magic attack and you'll be able to get damage during it. Each part lasts for a brief moment. After this animation though, he will have I-Frames, so space your attacks out, so you don't hit him while he has I-Frames, and accidentally lose some potential DPS. Going through Bigfoot: This is the part where many people get scared at. What do you do when he's right in front of you and the only way to go is...yes, through him. There are several techniques that you can do which allow you to go through him. 1. Using Other Monsters You can use the Jr. Wraiths or Elderwraiths to help you obtain I-Frames and go through Bigfoot. This is probably the most well-know method, but there are other effective methods, such as... 2. Using Bigfoot I HIGHLY recommend that you either have a lot of speed, or you have a mount. What you do here is wait until Bigfoot uses his magic attack, and move a tiny bit right when he uses it on you, so you don't get Knocked-Back too far. Once you do this, you should have I-Frames. Now go through him before they run out. 3. Using Your Skills: You can also use skills, such as Flash Jump, Dark Sight, or Recoil Shot to get past him. With Flash Jump and Recoil Shot, be careful if he's passive. He might just jump and you might just die Now time for the Class Strategies: Warriors: Depending on what type of warrior you are, you may or may not need different skills. Hero: Skills Needed: -At least 1 into Rush (You do not need 12k hp with this skill). -At least 1 into Brandish Rush is essential. Without it, it would be really hard to pin, and you would need ~12k to tank it. Brandish > Power Strike, because of its range. For heroes, you would typically rush the Bigfoot, being careful not to rush any wraiths or rush during the later part of Bigfoot's magic animation. Rush him until he is pinned. Once he is pinned, get a good distance away and attack him using this cycle: 2 brandishes, small pause, then repeat. If you do this correctly, he should stay pinned. Paladin: Skills Needed: -At least 1 into Rush (You do not need 12k hp with this skill). -At least 1 into Blast -10+ Stance is Recommended For Paladins, Bigfoot is a lot harder. You would do exactly the same as the Hero until you pin him. This is where it gets difficult. Since the range of blast is so horrible, you will have to attack him while he is using his magic attack. This makes your DPS a lot lower than heroes. Dark Knight: Skills Needed: -Rush is Recommended, especially if you are using Berserk. Crusher: For spear users, if you have rush, you basically just do the same as heroes until you pin him. Once he is pinned, take off booster and spam crusher. Using this skill w/o booster will keep him pinned indefinitely. Fury: I will test this later. Dragon Knight: Skills Needed: -Hyper Body to Survive -Crusher Dragon Knights can attempt Bigfoot, starting at level 110. You make the Bigfoot aggressive, so that he follows you. Then you lure him near a wall. After that, you get to the other side of him and use crusher until he's pinned. Once he's pinned, you take off booster and spam crusher. Bowman: When doing Bigfoot, these guys have a different system of killing Bigfoot. When using Strafe, depending on your distance, you may get a certain amount of hits on him. I will go more in depth about this for each class. 3rd Job: If you are attempting to do this at 3rd job, make sure you meet these requirements: -At least 1 Strafe (Although more is recommended). -At least 1 Power Knock-Back (For the pinning strategy). -Deal at least 2000 damage with each skill. Rangers: After testing this for a while, it seems that these guys have it harder. There are 2 strategies that I have tried: Power Knock-Back (PKB): I NEED SOMEONE TO CONFIRM THAT THIS WORKS With this strategy, you use PKB to pin the Bigfoot onto the wall. Don't worry about him dealing the touch damage, as long as you're not completely standing under him, you should be fine. After he is pinned, there is a certain distance that you have to be in order to ensure that he stays pinned and you do the most DPS. Reference distance to keep Bigfoot pinned (ONLY works when Bigfoot is pinned to a wall) ![]() Moving around: This basically just involves kiting Bigfoot around the map and going through him when you're trapped. At a close range, you should be able to get 2 strafes before his I-Frames. At a medium range, you should be able to get 3. At a long range, you can get 4. Snipers: These guys have it easier, because there is a certain distance that they can shoot from that allows them to constantly hit and pin Bigfoot, even when Bigfoot isn't pinned to the wall. Power Knock-Back: I NEED SOMEONE TO CONFIRM THAT THIS WORKS You do the same thing as the rangers do, except you have to stand at a different distance. Reference distance to keep Bigfoot pinned (even works when Bigfoot isn't pinned to a wall) ![]() Moving around or pinning him: Same as ranger, except the amount of shots that you can get at certain ranges are different. At close range, it's 4, and at long range, it's 3. At medium range, you can actually keep him pinned if you are a certain distance away at mid-range. Puppet: I don't recommend using puppet, because it makes it so that he uses his magic attack, and it doesn't seem to last that long. Plus, Bigfoot is easy to pass through. Marskman: This should be the same as the snipers. The only thing different is that you'll have Snipe, which you can use whenever it's up. Bowmaster: As a Bowmaster, you get a new skill, called Hurricane. After going through some testing, you can basically do the same thing as a ranger, except when using the moving strategy, you'll be able to get more shots into Bigfoot with Hurricane. Reference distance to keep Bigfoot pinned: ![]() Thief: Hermit: Skills Needed: -Either Dark Sight or Flash Jump really helps. -Lucky 7 Pinning: This is, in my opinion, the harder of the 2. To pin Bigfoot, lure him near the wall and either Flash Jump over him or use Dark Sight to go through him. After you do that, use Lucky 7 on him until he's pinned to the wall. If you are too close to him, this might not work. Now after he is pinned, get a good distance away from him and wait until he starts walking towards the wall. After he does that, instantly use Lucky 7 3 times and repeat. This is the hardest part of this. You have to get good timing or else he will be unpinned. Moving Around: This works the same way as the sniper and the ranger, except at close range, it's 2 hits, and at far range, it's 3 hits. Night Lord: This is the same as the Hermit, except that you get Triple Throw to use instead of Lucky 7. Shadower: I will do this later Magician: I will do this later Pirate: Corsair: Skills Needed: -At least 1 into Battleship -At least 1 into Battleship Cannon -At least 1 into Rapid Fire -Gaviota Battleship: Pinning: To do this, you lure him near a wall, jump over him with Recoil Shot, and get on ship. Now summon Gaviota and get near him enough where you won't take his touch damage but you'll make him do the magic attack. Shoot if you can. If you get knocked-back, just go near him again, so he doesn't move forward. Now keep doing this until he is pinned. Once he is, shoot and move to keep him pinned and keep Gaviota up while doing this. The place where you want to be is around where the Bowmaster goes if he wants to spam Hurricane. Here, you basically do the same thing as the Hermit and Night Lord. Moving Around: This is the same as all the other ranged classes, except it's 2 before he gets his I-Frames. Rapid Fire: Moving Around: Just shoot him until his Knockback Animation is finished, then wait a bit and repeat. Buccaneer: I will do this later Partying at Bigfoot: From what I have seen, Bigfoot is a LOT harder with more than one person attacking the Bigfoot. First, you still have to time your attacks perfectly in order to do decent damage on him. Another thing though is that Bigfoot acts weird when 2 or more people attack him. He unpins himself sometimes and disregards you as well. For warriors with Hyper Body, this is not much of a problem, but if you are another class that doesn't have enough HP to take 1 hit from him, you'll die. So, if you want to do it with someone else, you and your friend should do their own maps and you leech your friend off of your Bigfoot and he leeches you off of his Bigfoot. THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. I WILL FINISH IT LATER. Edited by bobsaget, Oct 21 2013, 07:30 AM.

GJ Brian! Just mention that it has 32mil hp, and gives like 2.6mil exp on 1x which means over 10 mil on 4x. About Mages and BF: Bishops are fucked up against him because he is immune to holy magic which means the max (or I must say the only) dmg u cal deal it is 1 f3. So better don't mess up unless you have an bot which can do like 32mil hits on it and also heal your character -_- F/P can pwn it easily cause its weak to fire, you can try poison it to deal some extra dmg. I/Ls are kinda fucked because it is immune to ice too, however it is still normal to lightning so you can use thunder spear/chain lightning(faster than thunder spear and deals more dmg...) |

Hermits can't really Pin BF because they took to long to rebuff it's best if they fj through the BF and keep attacking him. As well for nightlord he can use this method or he can pin once he gets Triple throw |
