I have a Thanksgiving riddle for all of my dear comrades. What's one activity that, with our current infrastructure, could guarantee us continued prosperity in the homeland and relevance abroad?

Okay. It's not really a riddle, but the answer to the question is "recruitment." No other GCR has put emphasis on grassroots recruitment, and I want to change that.

I was hesitant to advocate for immediately focusing on recruitment at first, but I think we have reached a point where we are ready to take on that next step. I have established and will continue to establish guides for all incoming members and I have built us a working army. The Governors continue to excellently serve the various aspects of the region that they oversee, but now, for us to fully realize our potential, we need to start filling our ranks and bringing in an audience to consume those guides.

Therefore, I want us to start recruiting within the next week, and I have created a simple recruitment procedure that we will adhere to based off of Feux's. I think mass telegrams aren't productive (my telegram is basically "Hey, I think you should stay with us. If you'd like to know why, send me a TG and we can talk.") and therefore my procedure for Lazarene recruitment is a simple one.

Indeed, all nations that post on the RMB or maintain a WA nation in the region should be personally telegrammed by the recruitment corps, and we should bring members to the forum by getting to know them. Rather than sending them a copy/pasted telegram, I want us to personally approach every conversation we have. Success rates will be higher and easier to achieve through these methods, and they'll also be less tedious because you'll be getting to know people. Furthermore, I hypothesize that it is more likely that our peers will stay in Lazarus and be active on the forums if we personally address them.

Given our current resources, I'm going to say that striving to have three people who recruit whenever they log in would suit us well. We will also need a recruitment officer to oversee this operation. If you're interested in being a recruitment officer, please post in this thread and explain your qualifications and how much you're willing to contribute. If you want to be a recruiter, please describe your activity levels, dedication, and persuasion skills.

I have also created the following userbars that recruiters will be able to wear if and when they achieve the milestones described on them. Our party/citizenship applications have been altered to include a question that asks the applicant whether or not they were referred to the forum by a given user, and if so who it was. Through personal confirmation or cited referrals in the applications, recruiters will be credited and rewarded for their recruitment efforts.

Recruitment is the fuel of any serious region and, to put it metaphorically, I want us to invade Iraq. Contributions to the recruitment program are the greatest that can possibly be given to Lazarus, and it is an honorable task that I encourage all citizens and party members alike to consider taking up.

Reverse the polarity of the neutron flow!

I could be a recruitment officer if so needed. I was the Minister of Culture in Taijitu for 3-4 months a little over a year ago, and part of my job entailed managing recruitment. Of course, after a point, recruitment starts to become a little bit of a chore, but I can contribute as much as is needed because I am filled with patriotic Lazarene fervor :P

EDIT: Come to think of it, it would probably be easier on me if someone else was the recruitment officer. I already have the job of Governing that area, so the position would kind of be superfluous if I held it.

I've always wondered, where do people get those bars/badges/stickers from? There's a standardized design so obviously there is some kind of program or template but I have no idea what it is.

I can't make this very stylish yet, because I am online on mobile phone.
But: Funk is right. I am exited about his patriotism o/

But I am not less dedicated, if you remember my totaly overused oneliner.
I would be pleased if I could support mother sinker even more and I volunteer for recruitment officer. Still I have no remarkable qualifications to post here. I have nothing but my will and zealous ambition to make Lazarus most glorious Region in world!

Consider me interessted.

I made some of these in photoshop, but a lot of people use online tools.
