Wednesday was the 3-year anniversary of me creating my "Cartavesqa" account, and that essentially commemorates the day when I started playing NS. I never thought I'd play for as long as I have, but I also expect to be winding down very soon. 2010 was when I learned the basics of the game, 2011 was my introduction to the II world and #Sanc, 2012 was largely a transition period for me between II and GP, and I spent almost all of 2013 focused on GP. NS Regions / Groups of Significance to Me (Order of Arrival, not Order of Main Residence): The Pacific - December 10 2010 Galactic Republic - December 2010 - January 2011 WERTA - December 2010 - January 2011 #Sanc - January 2011 - Present Greater Dienstad - January 2011 - February 2011 The Conglomerate - March 2011 #Judea - Observor Azhukali - February 2011 - Closure * Gholgoth - February 2011 - Present Tetrakon - Foundation - Closure Maredoratica - May 2011 - Present The South Pacific - May 2011 - April 2013 The UDL - June 2011 - July 2013, March 2013 The Pacific - June 2011 - Present ** Lazarus - February 2013 - Present Bold Indicates Regions Where "Cartavesqa" or "Milograd" Has Resided as a Main at Some Point Italics Indicate IRC Channel * I'm still present there when it becomes active. ** Present Main Region When did you start playing, where have you been, and why haven't you quit yet? ![]() |

My main nation: Libetarian Republics was born in the dynanmic West Pacific in October 08, during the Empire's occupation of The East Pacific. I tried my hand at early at the Confederate Uprising early on but it failed and eventually died. I was once indeed a userite adspammer. I then resided in the West Pacific for as long as I can remember just simply answering issues. I then got involved with II initially with the creation of the Western Alliance/the Great Coaltiion, the ancient predecessors to Judea. Then went to Azhukali and then Adrastos during the Adrastos/Tetrakon split. Then I simply remained inactive in Adrastos for the longest time and then in the new region New Celisia created that I can't quite remember. Then I got involved with GP for the longest tenure at TRR under my current alias LR. I briefly registered in the previous Lazarene forum as "Valens I" and then as "Inglorious Basterds" in Grand Central and the North Pacific but those went inactive. "Libs" was a brief period when both Osiris and Balder were created and I still to an extent have people called me Libs ![]() The reason I stay; no idea. |

My main nation: Kogvuron was born in a feeder (sadly, I don't know which one) in October 10 and sat there for a while before moving to The United Federation in March 11. TUF was my home region for a long time, but that title has been held by a few other ones later on (i.e. SFBA, TRR, Laz). I got involved in defending in June 11, or right after Dev's coup of TSP, thanks to TUF's membership in the FRA. After TUF went down, I moved elsewhere. For a while, I called Normandy my home. I have been a citizen of probably 30-40 regions. I've attempted to found them multiple times, although only one could be called successful (that being Romana, which grew to 220 nations in the first script era). RP wise, I first got into the game through NSSport. I have been a member of Rushmore, and AO and Tetrakon (briefly). The reason I stay: For fun, but I don't know for how much longer. I enjoyed retirement and may go back if RL gets too busy. |

Whoa...congrats on three years! Next month will be my one-year anniversary, and I can't say it's been anywhere as...varied...as everyone else's it seems. I've only been involved in three regions... Spiritus (January - October): Out of the three recruitment telegrams I received, Spiritus looked like it had the most potential so I started out there. It was inactive at first, but as it grew I became more involved and learned most of what I know about NS from there. In May, I was elected President of the region, and I'd like to think it was during this time that the region was at its best. I left the region in October after a lot of politics and attempts to distort my character and name. It was a tough decision, but ultimately I wasn't having fun anymore and so I knew it was time to leave. Wintreath (October - present): I founded Wintreath originally as a puppet dump while I considered my NS future, but after a few days friends convinced me that I should turn it into a serious region. I looked at what I considered the main flaws of Spiritus and together we crafted a Monarchy that would minimize politics and infighting in favour of progress and direction. Very happy with the progress we've made there, though I may be a tad biased. Lazarus (November - present): Before this time I had a strict policy of only being Citizen of one region at a time, but after the tenth time Milo tried to recruit me I figured I should probably do it. I also liked that it seemed to mirror our decision in Wintreath to have a strong, dynamic executive as well. I'm still pretty new here, but I'd like to think I'm contributing as I can.The reason I stay...well, one, I'm still relatively new. But I genuinely like making friends and building communities, and for the most part that's what I've been involved with on NS. I haven't really been very involved in portions of the game that seem to burn people out, so that might help as well.

Back in the day, 60 was average among the forum whores. If you ever wanted to blame people for the failure of a region, we were the ones to blame. I think the most cabinet positions i held at once was 11 (excluding one lovely term in Laz where i was the government). All FA or Army
