The (very) basic site is up at http://www.TheMultitude.org. In case you haven't been keeping track, TheMultitude.org is intended to be the new forum where the 99% can get organized online. This ZetaBoards forum is intended to plan and steer it. Become an Alpha tester - You can help out by registering at http://www.TheMultitude.org and posting threads, polls, replies around the various sections. Feel free to post test threads that don't contain any useful content (within reason ) -- I can delete them later. Be sure to note and report any problems in the registration or posting process here so I can fix them. There are likely some permission issues to iron out, as I did most of this over a red-eyed insomniac night.Non-technical issues like suggestions for the structure of the sections, content, wording, rules, etc. should probably remain in the appropriate dedicated sections of this forum (such as "Content Suggestions" at http://s11.zetaboards.com/occupytogether/forum/3028976/). Just post technical issues here, like "I couldn't start a new thread in ______", "it won't let me register", or "my hamster is stuck in my CD drive". Thanks. http://www.TheMultitude.org is now in beta. New posts regarding forum planning should be made there, instead of here, in the "Site Business" -> "Planning" section: http://www.themultitude.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=15 Edited by equazcion, Oct 11 2011, 05:08 AM.

This may not be a bad time to remind all members to register and participate in the new forum www.TheMultitude.org. This forum will remain open for the time being, but we should try to move our activities to the new forum as much as possible, as we will eventually keep this one open just in case anyone happens to be here from the OWS forum. |

I went for broke and made a post to the OWS forum to advertise this: http://occupywallst.org/forum/a-new-forum/ It would REALLY help if everyone here could comment on the post, as that will bump it to the top of the forum list. Due to the chaos at the OWS forum, unless a post gets comments, it basically disappears from sight. Building the site was only the beginning. This thing will NEVER work if we don't continue working at what we started here. Pay attention to the planning section at TheMultitude.org (I have to paste several messages around threads here to communicate with all of you so far). And please devote some time to promoting the site at the OWS forum and wherever else you can. I'm feeling a bit like I'm barely keeping this thing alive all on my own. Thanks. I added a comment, hopefully it stays up for a while. I'll keep an eye on it and re post the link when needed. |
