R'vorroth is a plane with a singular realm. A large, expansive desert, no native lifeforms are known to exist. Flatlands, canyons, and sharp peaks dot the landscape. Why would anybody choose to come here? To seek their fortune. R'vorroth, since its discovery, held a reputation as a haven for the lawless, the rejects, or people just looking to get away. With nobody who would willing go there, it became the refuge for those looking to get away. And with the flock of such people came the surge of bounty hunters and mercenaries, people tasked with eliminating criminals (or sometimes innocent victims). Over time, the culture of R'vorroth gradually shifted to a more civilized state, if one could call it that. Settlements arose, the mass importing of water began, and for the first time, plants started to bloom. However, few people care about this part of R'vorroth. What they care about is the fortune that people make here. It is common for people to dream of R'vorroth, of the possibilities. In its lawlessness, pillaging is common. Warriors wander the wastes, hoping to hunt down other bands of people, and taking their belongings for their own. Sometimes, great weapons, armor, or other things can be found here. Other times, all you will find is your corpse buried in the sand. |
