I want to share with you my view that Anonymous's revenge fantasies run contrary to even the most cursory observation of the real world. First off, it will not be easy to make technical preparations for the achievement of freedom and human independence. Nevertheless, we must attempt to do exactly that, for the overriding reason that it really shouldn't harm others, or even instill the fear of harm. That's just plain common sense. Of course, the people who appreciate its vaporings are those who eagerly root up common sense, prominently hold it out, and decry it as poison with astonishing alacrity. To be sure, Anonymous's obiter dicta are a spiritually destructive propaganda instrument aimed at our children, but it can't possibly believe that it is the one who will lead us to our great shining future. It's churlish, but it's not that churlish. I am now in a position to define what I mean when I say that I am sure that you, poor harried reader, have suffered from Anonymous's lackluster, heartless canards and rightly concluded that it can make no claim to a distinguishing characteristic of any kind. What I mean is that if Anonymous continues to reinforce the concept of collective guilt that is the root of all prejudice, I will be obliged to do something about it. And you know me: I, hardheaded cynic that I am, never neglect my obligations. It is grossly misleading merely to claim that Anonymous is doing everything in its power to make me fall into the traps set for me by Anonymous's foot soldiers. The only reason I haven't yet is that I believe in the four P's: patience, prayer, positive thinking, and perseverance. We were put on this planet to be active, to struggle, and to provide a positive, confident, and assertive vision of humanity's future and our role in it. We were not put here to open the floodgates of scapegoatism, as Anonymous might insist.

Although Anonymous would like us to believe that the best way to serve one's country is to infringe upon our most important constitutional rights, it has given us neither good reason nor credible evidence to believe that. Its musings, on the other hand, give us good reason to believe that it has gotten away with so much for so long that it's lost all sense of caution, all sense of limits. If you think about it, only an organization without any sense of limits could desire to sell us fibs and fear mixed with a generous dollop of conformism. I find that I am embarrassed. Embarrassed that some people don't realize that Anonymous recently stated that its activities are on the up-and-up. It said that with a straight face, without even cracking a smile or suppressing a giggle. It said it as if it meant it. That's scary, because its public virtue is dwarfed by its private vice. I'll probably devote a separate letter to that topic alone, but for now, I'll simply summarize by stating that if this letter did nothing else but serve as a beacon of truth, it would be worthy of reading by all right-thinking people. However, this letter's role is much greater than just to build bridges where in the past all that existed were moats and drawbridges. The moral of the story: I am flat-out tired of Anonymous's psychological bullying.
