Is a 1911 sufficient for a Grizzly? I always take at least a .44 mag. We only have black bears here though. I was thinking along the lines of .44 mag at minimum, or 12gauge slug to be safe.

Amazon is having a downloadable games spring sale right now! There are some pretty awesome titles at $10 and below right now. Just a heads up for any PC gamers on here. My gf is going to visit me in PA this summer. I showed her some shots from a friends facebook, she was not amused by the black bear.:ha I told her if we go hiking I'd take the Saiga with me.I have never needed a gun in the woods up there though, it will only be to settle her worries. Somebody hacked my xbox live account... also that same person is trying to get into my EA (origin account). I go password rest request in my e-mail. The person who hacked my xbox account, had made over 100 bucks in charges (MS points), and I haven't even been on my xbox in probably over a month. |

Black bear sightings are very common, but attacks are rare, but if they do happen they're more than likely trying to turn you into dinner. Better safe than sorry, I always carry a gun just in case. Edited by ilivas, Apr 13 2012, 06:18 PM.

I think you're right. I think they got my gmail account which was linked because I just got a bunch of password reset e-mails from my EA origins account which is linked to my gmail. My EA origins password was reset via my gmail. I changed passwords on my gmail so hopefully the threat is gone. My paypal account was linked to my xbox live account, and they made payments through there. I had previously gotten security e-mails (6 months ago) from gmail stating that my account may have been compromised and to change the password, because someone from china had attempted to log in. MS said that my account will be locked down for a week under investigation, but they will be able to refund the money. I may just shut down my e-mail and get a new e-mail address. I'm wondering why they want to get into my EA origins account? There's nothing there, but the link to my Mass Effect 3 game that I had played. Edited by ilivas, Apr 13 2012, 06:38 PM.

yep ditch that email address and move on. also when you make a password, makeitareallylongeasytorememberpassword <---- see how that works? then the secret question stuff... just bullshit it, "what is your favorite color" balls who was your 1st boss sweatyballs etc etc etc then do the same thing for that backup email address go thru to paypal and start changing everything..... then you've really got to start watching everything, if they got into paypal they know your full name, address, they know you have a CC, and unless you have to attached to a bank acc..... you can see where all this can go. why go after your EA account? cause its china.. its pirate no law land, they have rooms and rooms full of people doing nothing but exactly what happened to you for 8 hours a day. does anyone else feel the older they get, the more they understand..... hmm life? its like as a kid you look at your parents and you think what they do and why they do it is so werido alien, but the older you get its like ooooohhhh I understand now. and for what ever reason when you are young you have these blinders on, and the only thing that removes the blinders is age. |

I noticed when I was younger, I just operated all the time on straight emotions all the time without any sort of logic. When I look back, I'm wondering how could many of the things I did be a good idea... |

Due to the whole divorced parent deal I watched as one stayed successful and the other became mediocre and had some setbacks. So it is neat observing this at a personal level and deciding some actions are really stupid and to never do that.
