werd. But yeah I mean if you dig the gold, then go with the gold...I was just sayin I'm not too much of a fan of the green and gold, but it could be done right. I like the look of a mesh wheel with a chrome lip. And this is about the only time i like chrome on wheels. ![]() |

I actually wish I could find a set of BBS like that in 16". Finding 16" wheels seems impossible. I don't know if I had mentioned this a few years ago when I put these ZR1s on the car, lost something like 40 lbs. over the 17"s...... |

did you have knock off zr1s? seems to be a trend with knock off wheels... they are like lead. GM OEM wheels are always the best route.... unless you get a nice set of name brand wheels. but for the price / quality GM wheels are hard to beat, i picked up mine for 270. The Z06s were aftermarket from OE Wheels, but they were only about 3-5 lbs. more than the OEM Z06s.... So I still would have lost weight. Seeing prices on the Sport Comp 2's almost made me wish I had funds kicking around to search out a set of OEM Z06s, but oh well this is done . Either need to find an aftermarket set of BBS or something along those lines or keep changing these in color.

Yeah, going from temps in the 80's and sunshine to rain, and low 40's is kind of a ball kicker. |

It starts in Seattle then goes up to Juneau, and Skagway. Then comes back down to Canada. Its a 7 day cruise. I had to hit the gift shops and buy a coat. I was totally unprepared for the weather. I didn't think it would be this cold in May. I was thinking mid 60's which is shorts weather for me.

Sooo....Exploder has been sitting sitting across the street in a public meter lot for the past 2.5 months. The lot is free during the winter, but they start charging per hour again on June 1st so I want to get rid of that damn thing before then. I was hoping to get like $750 out of it, so I decided to take it to Carmax and just accept whatever they offer. I got in it yesterday and fired it up to drive it over to Carmax, and about a minute later the 2nd cylinder drops and the thing is barely running. I'm on 4/6 cylinders at this point, so I said to myself "fuck it" and turned around. I just want this piece of shit gone because it's barely running now, so I call up "Webuycars.com" and tell them about it. I figure they'd at least come pick it up for free, and give me like $50 or something for it. They offered me $300 right off the bat and said that's the best they could do. I said I was really looking for around $500, so they countered with $350. I said 400, they said 375 and we had a deal. It's only $375, but the car barely runs, it needs shocks, brakes, transmission work, and 40% of the engine doesnt work so I feel like it's a decent price haha. They're coming to pick it up between 12 and 4 today. I'm a little sad tho...I had a lot of good times in this thing. Used it all through college, up until a few months ago. but in the end, i really dont care and just want it gone. |
