It's listed as a black diamond on your link.. It didn't look that hard in the vid though. http://www.singletracks.com/bike-trails/warrior-creek-at-kerr-scott-reservoir.html |

Judging from this review, I should stay away. Lol Review: Fantastic trail - one of the best in the southeast. It has some of everything, Rock gardens, bridges, lots and lots of berms, roller coaster downhills, a few climbs, and long enough to really give you a good workout. Tougher than the Overmountain Victory trail - Longer and more technical. A 10.5 mile loop, with new sections and upgrades constantly under construction - The trail crew that maintains the Wilkesboro trails is phenomenal. I notice some new tweaks, repairs or additions just about every time I ride. A much tougher workout than the adjacent OVT, but a great challenge and an extremely fun trail. Worth making a trip to if you can. There are a few additional trails that break off that from the main loop: Marley Ford a nice quite out- and back, but then... The Headwaters Loop: It is awesome, but know upfront - it is insane. it's marked as a double black diamond, but if the rest of Warrior Creek is merely "Advanced" then think of this this loop as "Hadron-Collider-Advanced". it MASSIVELY more technical that anything else at Warrior Creek. rock gardens, rock drops, uphill rock garden switchbacks, and yes more rocks, with one large 6 foot-ish rock roll-drop (avoidable). the second half (riding counter clockwise) is an extended uphill rock garden with tv- sized boulders, tight switchbacks and very few places to get moving again if you get thrown. The rock gardens seem specially built to make picking a line impossible. Dont get me wrong - its crazy fun, masterfully built, and shouldn't be missed. Just be prepared to do alot of walking if you're not up for expert level mtn bike rockwork. A fantastic addition to the network. * Review edited 9/29/2012 |

When I was in 8th grade my family took a trip out to Colorado in the summer, and my dad rented my brother and I these awesome Trek mountain bikes, gave us a helmet and we went up and down the mountain all day. Take the ski lift up, and they put your bike on the back of it and you just ride down. It was pretty rocky and steep, I remember at some parts my back wheel would lock and I would just kinda skid down the path for a while and never came to a full stop. I didn't really use the front brakes too much because i didn't want to go over the edge. I used to be pretty good on a bike, but i havent rode one in years so I'm probably pretty terrible at it. I was ignorant and fearless back then tho. Looking back on what I was doing, I'm not sure why my dad gave me the green light haha. |

keep your seat low low and you gota really lean back, sometimes you'll even find yourself behind your seat if its really steep. |

hahha yea stay away from anything BLACK, the 1st part of the video looked pretty fun though. most trails just have these little post markers with colors keeping you on the trail of your skill level. least thats how they do it around here. |

So got some thunderstorms that dropped a lot of water. Glad the beater is a truck, even then at one point I almost stalled it out. Wife freaking out, glad I picked her up versus her trying to drive, I don't think a Grand Am would have made it.:ha |
