seems pretty good! comcast DNS was fine... both of these are just a bit faster. I have it all hooked up on my main download machine already so my ISP can't watch where I go. as long as I land directly on an HTTPS page, its all secret!

startpage.com is another good google replacement as well, direct https and all search history is dumped and never logged. Its just a google scraper really.
I've been using bing... Every search you do gives you rewards points, and I use those points towards amazon gift cards. I get a $5 gift card every 3 weeks or so.

pull up to get some gas in the z28... someone guy walks up and asks if my car is a 2004 or 2005..... ummmmmm... so I told him 94 hes says ohh 04 okok i said NO NINETY FOUR... look of confusion comes over his face as if a car this old in nice shape can't exist. I just reply, I take good care of it!
He would of freaked out if he saw a 60's mustangs around here.... Everyone has a restored one these days.

haha well nobody would mistake a 60s muscle car! and if you see one... yea its almost always been restored.

IDK around here everyone is hiding the f-cars you do not see them on the road at all...and really haven't in the past 5 years... so its almost like people don't even know what you are driving. Its bizarre, even cruising around looking for some action.. people have no idea..they just kinda look at your car and wonder how fast it might be..because 99% chance they've never even raced one before.

never thought i'd see this day ever!! it feels like im driving a UFO.

I don't see hardly any cars from the 80's or 90's anymore. I'm pretty sure cash for clunkers took care of most of those. It's a shame because they'll be classics in a few more years.

YEP! a few 80s 944's around here are already running the blue collectors tags.
few more years and the z28 will get one, then I don't have to renew it ever again.

but yea.. don't really see any 90s sports cars any more.. early 2000's and you see 300z RX7 3000GT... everything... now... gone. They stand out when you see them though, always turns my head for sure.

Even just a simple del sol, and im thinking waoh check it ! :rof

This weekend i pull out on the interstate and whats this.. a white LT1 ws6 in my rear view!?1 guy speeds up and we are thumbs upping each other haha DYING BREED!
Sad to see the compactish sports cars going away...but those days are gone! Kinda makes me laugh when import guys used to call fbodies BIG cars ahah now look at everything *fog horn*

I'm not sure but I don't think they make legacies anymore, which is why it got bigger and looks like that.

i guess the new front end is pretty cool looking...just not used to seeing a WRX look that big... hood scoop is better too, its not a para-scope anymore

I think all cars are getting bigger, the civic, and corolla are much larger too. I saw a 4runner and thought that it was huge.

oh yes they all are! civic..holy shit that used to be a compact..now its like a midsize sedan! Everything is getting huge, yet they are having to make them get greater and greater MPG figures.

Safety they say? having everyone driving around in tank cars is safe? How about making the driving test something REAL, its wayyyyyyyyy to easy to pass. You see those people on that ford TV ad.. with the parking assist? why do they need that to parallel park, oh the guy says it right in the ad.. he DOESN'T EVEN KNOW HOW.

WTF! in my HS drivers ed class they put us in big boat caprices and had us doing reverse zig zags around cone hell.. when you got done with that you could pilot a ship down a pin hole!

State requirement? um... can you drive the speed limit, can you park in some cones, do a 3 point... thats pretty much ALL IT IS.. i was shocked how easy they hand out drivers licenses.

I scare passengers
Cars are getting larger all the time, remember Honda released the Fit because it is roughly the size of the original Civic?
I really like the wheels on that WRX, but honestly the overall shape is starting to remind me of the last Lancer/Evo...... Kind of has that smashed face look going on, very small looking front fenders.

I see a few 4th gens around, especially after this thaw, seen a few more this weekend. If I have any luck maybe I will get the rockers adjusted this weekend, maybe. Agreed though, seeing anything older than 2004 seems even rare. I suppose this time of year up here though it is mostly trucks and jeeps.

sp00ke will have to show me all this dns voodoo when I move back south. :woo

I just saw an article about the IIHS doing a highway crash test of 11 mini cars, and only 1 of them was deemed passable. The crash dummies died in all the rest....i wont be getting a small car any time soon.

Which car made the cut? How mini are we talking? Like a Dodge Dart/Honda Fit, or like those stupid smart cars?

yea like the fiat thing and the mini coop and smart.

those are the tiny cars... fit, mazda 2, those aren't small, they are just normal compact size to me.

im sure most of the cars that hurled us down the interstates when were were kids wouldn't pass those tests either, we made it!!!
I just drive defensive 100% of the time, I don't think i've even looked at the crash ratings of a car when buying or searching.

Trying to beat this into the wife as well...she'll be all driving by the rules, yet someone else isn't and shes getting pissed HE SHOULD STOP ITS MY TURN, or I HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY.. who cares, hes not stopping, you'll just crash..... drive as if nobody else is ever going to do the right thing.

The only car that passed was a Chevy believe it or not. Their little Spark was the only one that made the list.

So I get a txt from my 8th grade nephew saying his friends dad just bought the Mustang from Transformers. And I asked my bro in law and yes confirmed, it is the exact Mustang police car from Transformers 1. Not a replica. Like so legit, that they can't drive it yet because it has a splinter of wood in the tire from when they were filming the movie, and they are getting it professionally fixed so they can keep the tires the exact tires from the movie. He sent me a shitty pic of it in the garage but its not worth showing.

Also, he then goes "yeah and he just traded in his supercharged corvette for this supercharged Camaro" and sent this pic.....correct me if I'm wrong, but that's a fucking ZL1, is it not!!?! I asked him but he has no idea what a ZL1 is because hes not really that into car specifics yet. I can only imagine this dude traded in a ZR1.
