Guns are not illegal... they're just very controlled and very expensive. BTW, there's a black market, where you can get a gun without problems (the problem comes when the police discover it )

Can't say... i haven't worked with americans nor japanese cars. BTW, it's difficult if you don't have the proper tools, and many brands make unique tools for certain models (And i'm not talking about the electronic part...) |

I haven't been to a drag race in a while but I think 15psi is WAY two high for drag only slicks. I think you want to be in the single digits. That could be why you spun them so bad.

Yeah euro cars are rediculous. People think that german engineering is awesome but really its just because they do some bass akwards things where something simple and reliable works just fine. Maybe its different over seas but I know VW over here have a trouble free life for about 3 years and then its time to get rid of it because dumb stuff is goin to break. And when it does its $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$! |

I looked up some of that stuff on the touareg, yea wow... some people posting, can you change the starter without removing the engine. What could be done in a parking lot on your back, now suddenly requires ENGINE REMOVAL. I wonder if you have to remove the radiator to change your air filter.

:S You absolutely can do that kind of operations with ease! And easier if it's in a touareg, which has more space to work. I have changed turbos, starters and more things in little cars without the need to remove anything. But I remember having to remove the air filter case, just to change a light bulb, haha! that was awful! |

I'm running drag radials though, not slicks. Nitto 555Rs. That Earth video was pretty neat! |

ohhhh what the heck why did you do that? if you are just running a 555R sheesh.. thats almost just running another street tire. THey also won't hook very well without heat in them. |

I was looking at ECU reprogramations availables for the CLK. I saw one, for 90€ i could have 230hp (37hp more than now). But i'm kinda worried about my gearbox, so i don't know what to do, mod this car as a hobby... or save money for a new better car and leave the current one. |

Just be easy with it and don't drive it like a madman. are the gearboxes in those models prone to failure? |

Decide what car you really want and go from there. You are in Germany, me personally, I would be Porsche shopping. This is with a potentially uninformed guess, but I would hope they would be treated like early 90's Vette prices or even Fbody/Mustang pricing. Or also in my boat I would be Rx7 shopping, if they made them past 94 for Europe. Or GTR. AHHHH!!! I'd go crazy! Are there Holdens there or are those only in Austraila? Or did Opel make some rebadged Holdens? I would be like a kid in a candy store over there. hahaha Well the 555R's came with the rear draglites when I bought it all together for a package deal of only $300. The deal really couldn't have been beat so that is why I have them. |

These automatic gearboxes are kinda prone to fail... and replacing them cost more than 3k € BTW, i've been looking for a CLK 430 remanufactured gearbox, that will handle the kind of power i want with ease. 1.5k € Yes, Porsche would be a option to follow. Rx7 and GTR are difficult to find, unless you're in the UK (in fact, the GTR was only sold there in Europe). Opel didn't rebadged any Holden, the only "similar" thing is the rebadged Pontiac GTO by Vauxhall in UK, so it's made for the wrong side of the road. So yes, ways to follow: BMW M, AMG and Porsche Edited by Toxic_Avenger, Mar 20 2012, 04:28 PM.
