I scare passengers
|
They really grew on me the more often I saw them. I'm still don't like the lack of a conventional manual though, no matter how good the paddle shifters are.

I totally agree... I prefer a traditional transmission as well, but I can understand why they went with the paddle shifters. |

So my Dad is looking at 2012 Foresters. They happen to have one 5 speed that no one has any interest in. With Subaru's, how far do you have to push the clutch pedal to disengage the clutch? He is tempted a little by it if he won't have to put the clutch all the way down and could just pivot off the dead pedal and push it about half way down. He won't be tempted by it if he is going to have to push the clutch pedal to the floor. How was it in the WRX? |

A guy offered me a change: my CLK for another CLK. I would be receiving 25 more hp, leather and more options, for free And i'm not going to accept. I prefer to keep my Supercharged I4 than driving a N/A V6. |

From what I remember you don't have to push the clutch all the way down. Keep in mind, I didn't have my stock clutch for very long on the car. Edited by ilivas, Jul 28 2012, 09:19 PM.

That looks nice, but other than weather, I'm wondering how this is better than a bike. A bike is lighter too. Although the pedal assist would be nice. I'm also concerned about the price.... $8500 is way, way too much. $1000 would be the sweet spot. Hopefully the chinese or indians, make a knock of for under a grand. There is probably something wrong with it if he wants to trade for nothing. |

would be cool but im not sure if we'd ever see a price drop, china only copies high demand stuff..... i doubt something like this would ever be high demand. BUT 8500 is kind of a *gag* the way I 1st looked at it was you'd have this thing prob the rest of your life..... its like a car but not like a car, there is almost nothing to break or ware out, and way cheaper!!! also would you wanna be riding a huffy version of this? I didn't think so haaha

nope. Didnt have AC until 710am. It's a small apartment so there are just window AC units. One in the living room and one in the bedroom. Temp outside never dropped below 87 all night...and it was humid as hell. |

Holy shit that thing was $8500? I didnt watch the whole thing so I had no idea. I'm with you tho, I'd price it around 1000 give or take. Hell no for 8500. I think even 2k would be absurd. |

Yeah, for that much I could buy a used 95 civic, buy 3 years of gas, not have to pedal, completely weather proof, and could carry passengers, and have storage space for less than 8500. Edited by ilivas, Jul 30 2012, 02:34 AM.

I couldn't tell ya. Everything is included in this place, so I just pay my rent and my landlord takes care of all the utilities so I never see the bill. I'll ask my GF tho, she was in charge of paying the electric at our last place so Ill see if she knows how much the AC ran us. I dont think it was too bad tho. |

3500 might be a more real price.. but the bike parts alone prob cost around 1,000, then you've got that body that im sure is hand made. its expensive cause they are prob making them 1 at a time in a shop somewhere in germany. I just think its cool cause its a little self powered car thing.... no insurance, no tag, no maint, no gas, and it keeps you in shape..... and i like pedal power stuff (not in a hippie way)

shit my power bill is only about $40 in the spring/summer/fall and I have a window A/C unit just for my room since my central A/C is out. Then my gas bill is like nothing until winter rolls around and it goes to $150 - $200 for a few of the coldest months. Im only in a 1500sq ft house though. |
