I fired it up... I still don't like it. However, the controller feels much more natural than I was expecting.

Just don't like the pace or what? Controller probably will feel natural, you've just been using it a lot. I can't use a controller in FPS games on computer, its been over a year for me now I think, I'm adapted back.

Well figured I'd get a little Diablo 3 in this morning. Hadn't had my coffee yet, didn't really think things though. My hardcore barbarian is dead. :ha :ha :ha He made it to hell difficulty but his journey ends. Killed by a damn quill beast champion pack: fire chains, vortex, and desecration.

Yeah, I don't like the pace. It's not quite as fast paced as I'm used to. MW3 is more of a fast twitch shooter, while BF3 seems more strategy based, move from point to point, and cover to cover. The controller felt really good though, I was definitely not at a disadvantage, when it came to quick aiming, I seemed to win those battles more often then not. In MW3, I can run around retarded and jump off a balcony do a 360 in the air and kill two people before i land, that's the kind of stuff that I'm into. I know it's not as realistic, but I like it.

your ass will adjust, give it time... few weeks you won't even feel it, my ass is numb to the seat, i don't even feel it...seat? what seat? oh yea.....

a sore backside is the noobs 1st complaint.

just take a stroll everyday around your neighborhood or something, just a little short 15 or 20 min ride a day on some nice flat smooth easy road.

if you go starting out on trails you are going to murder yourself, just make sure you get some seat time everyday and on the weekends when you hit the trails you'll get better and better each passing time.

seat time is key.... just ride, it doesn't matter where, just go.

I hit some trails the same day we bought them. My legs were on fire trying to go uphill. To add to the misery, I feel like I was raped by the seat. My cardio is definitely not up to snuff. I tried to hit some jumps on the downhill section of the trail and I almost went over the handle bars.

This is definitely going to take some time. I don't remember it being this tough when I was 13. Lol

I tried getting back on today, but my ass wasn't having it. It's still way too sore from yesterday.

yea sounds like you jumped straight into the deep end..... going over the handlebars on some jumps shouldn't ever happen.

tell your ass to STFU and ride, like i said just ride everyday even if its just on some flat paved road. ride everyday and just suck up the pain, it goes away but you've got to be proactive, just ride on the sore backside like it doesn't hurt. Your bottom should also only be touching in 2 places really, and thats those 2 ass bones in your butt, other then those 2 quarter size spots nothing else should be touch the seat.

the more you ride the better everything gets on the trail and off the trail.

when you ride around your house knock up your seat a little, your legs should just be 80% extended on the down stroke, on the trails drop it to 40% cause you have to have room for jumps and stand up to pump. High seat on the trails equals seat in ass making you fall.

you can't ride long distances with your legs in an overly crunched position, they just burn up and are done really quick, thats why its trail only mode cause you have lots of coasting and reload time.... unless you live around me and have no coast and reload time :-D in which.... its all brute force all the time.

I had the seat up where my legs fully extend when I'm riding. It's difficult to get off, and on the bike.

on the road and around your house when you are just standing off the seat, the point of the seat should hit you right in the tail bone.

on the trail lower that sucker so you have room, you can't be going over hills bumps and jumps with your seat high... which explains why you almost had and over the handle bar situation.

when you stand up you gota haven plenty of room for the bike to move and not touch you so you can soak up the shock with your body as well.

kinda sounds like you are riding a little to high for just poking around town let alone hitting tails.

Hmm might sell all my spray goodies. I don't know, I just feel very unmotivated to install it all. Maybe I'm starting to feel like I'll go turbo down the road so why bother? Guess I'd rather have the money at the moment, save up to swing a truck in good working condition. :ha

I'm wondering if the frame is the right size too. I'm 5'11, and am on a medium size frame.

Go for the turbo, they're way more fun. And cheap in the long run.

yea thats good, im 6'1 and ride a large.

Med is perfect for your height, just adjust the seat down a little, it shouldn't be hard to get off of at all. Should be really comfortable and easy to control.
