We shoved the bike in as a hole in the back of my pathfinder, and that got old quick. The hitch bike rack was only $100, so we went ahead and snagged it. It's well worth it. Edited by ilivas, Sep 26 2012, 08:58 PM.

yea you atleast gota take the front wheels off and seats. quick release makes it easy I just got sick of wrestling them out, back when i was a teenager i had a plank of wood in the bed of my truck with those little quick relasse hubs, front tire off on to the hub lock it down and done super easy. Im not riding trails anymore so its out my front door and im off... and im not driving 2 hours for a trail either esp since I don't know anyone that rides anymore. some years down the road if you like riding def think about getting a road bike, I wish i had picked up one of these years ago its FUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN... well cause I like speed and this thing is like a self propelled rocket ship. Im def getting more of a workout cause im pushing to keep at ludicrous speed all the time. weeeeeeeeeee... sidewalk people, aren't liking the silent flash whipping by them at 30++mph LOLOLOL ---------------------------- after looking at your picture... yea those reflectors, just rip them off now, the ones in your wheels are going to do nothing but start to get loose and rattle around or if just get broke off when you really get riding... and that little stupid plastic thing behind your gearset... rip that off too... it will do nothing but get loose wobble around and generally just become annoying. cleaning your chain after a ride, a deep bristle wire grill brush, just grind it in the rear gears and spin the peddles backwards fast. best chain lube...... motorcycle chain wax..... stuff is cheaper, goes waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay longer, and is wayyyyyyyy better.. your rear chain will be super silent. They seem to price MTB lube like printer ink. (you also have a squish master 5000 seat) http://www.mountain-bike-world.com/cms/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/specialized_avatar.jpg im rocking a road saddle on my MTB Edited by sn00zie, Sep 26 2012, 10:10 PM.

Chicago gets a bad wrap. It gets a lot of press for corruption...but you dont notice it in your daily life. And im pretty sure it's the deadliest city in the US right now...but if you stay out of those shitty parts, its fine. like 98% of the murders take place in like 5% of the city or something ridiculous like that. I can see if you dont like Chicago image...i cant really blame you. I guess you just have to live here to get it...its an amazing city. Left side of my balcony view =)

lol...yeah that's completely understandable. But when you grow up here, you get used to it....no that's a lie...you never get used to it. Every winter I say I'm moving, but then the spring comes and it's worth it. Chicago is one of the best summer cities in the country. last winter was actually pretty mild...only snowed a few times and never got really cold. Cold doesn't really bother me a whole lot tho as long as I'm prepared for it. Hell Ive been to the 3 coldest Bears games in history and i plan on going to the last homegame again this year....its fun.![]() |

lol. I forget that you live so close, Tommy. I was in Chicago for a week a month ago, would've been good to meet up and get some burs. In other news, I hate TV's. I mean, I love them, but I hate that I have to spend money to get good ones. Bought some cheaper samsung 55" LED for 1400 a few months back...hate it. Thought I'd get to like it, but nope... Yeah I'm not a TV snob at all. I can tell the difference between the highend and the mid level, but it's not worth the extra money for me. Vizio fits my needs. |

Surprised on the Samsung TV quality, I love my 32" LCD. Samsung usually looks the best to me when I walk around in stores still too. |

Actually...not sure I'd buy another Vizio unless it had a gaming mode. all the component/hdmi ports have a delay in them because of the picture processing on the tv...ive tried everything and cant shut it off. I almost bought a new tv but as a last ditch effort not to, I bought the RGB cables for my Xbox and there isnt any delay with that port. I dont think it looks quite as good as the HDMI, but its still good and saves me from buying a new tv. TV was a late graduation/bday present from my whole family so I didnt get to pick it out. |

At least the HDMI ports work, my Dad has a oh hell I can't even remember what it is, a westinghouse? That doesn't seem right, something super off brand. Anyway it won't even pick up the 360 on HDMI.

haha no you're right, there is a Westinghouse brand. I see those a lot on woot.com for supercheap. My friend bought one for his spare room and it didnt even last a year...only used it a handfull of times. |

Well that is the thing, I think his TV is something even less known than a Westinghouse. I remember now, its an Olievia. Thing is awful, HDMI port as stated won't pick up the 360, says something like invalid signal or no signal, you can't program universal remotes to it, etc.... Thing is just ridiculous.

With how low the prices of mid-level, reliable TV brands like Vizio are, it amazes me that some people still take a chance with those shit ass ultra cheap brands. You end up paying way more because when it breaks and you try to put in a warranty claim you get transferred to "Peggy" in Moscow only to find out the warranty period is 6 hours after purchase. |
