people were bitching about D3 and how you just can't keep playing forever. but I seem to not be running into any issues playing the game again on harder levels, things get tougher, you have better spells each time around, and you get better armor weapons etc etc etc so its still fun each time cause its not like you are just going back thru exactly the same over and over again... this game has lots of legs, and lots of things to do and try. Its the same amount of fun each time I play. |

I did all of my xmas shopping on amazon last year...the hell with retail stores and their ridiculous prices. I cant wait till Best Buy finally kicks the bucket and goes out of business. I worked at that hell hole in Highschool and knowing what really goes on behind the scenes there has made me never want to shop there again. I'm sure most retail places are similar, but I cant stand that place. The only time I've gone there since has been to buy an xbox game or something small. |

Yeah, I do most of my black friday shopping online. It's not worth it for me to stand outside for 5 hours to save $70 on a tv. If you use deal sites like slick deals or fat wallet in the first place, you get better prices all year long anyways. |

Yeah I don't get it. My dad doesn't wait in line, but he does go to the stores around 6am to try and get deals. I'm like "you realize that you can get the same deals every day of the year if you just shop around online right?" haha. He doesn't care tho. also, while we're on the topic, I would never buy ANY of the bargain items from Best Buy. I used to work the late nights with the deliveries...and um...yeeeeah...we we're exactly "careful" with the cheap printers and stuff like that. I wont go into details, but lets just say I know exactly the distance in media department aisles I can throw a Lexmark printer

Those items were probably beaten more than that by the delivery guys. I've seen them handle my pallets at work in front of me and it made me cringe. I'd hate to see what they do behind closed doors. |

Yeah I'm sure its horrible. When I was 17, I was skinny as shit. I think i was 6'3 and 165lbs. Anyway, we were unloading a truck and there were 40inch Sony Vega tvs in the back, the flatscreen tube TV's with the 4inch glass that weighed like 450lbs...anyway the dude was like "Tommy go take one down" and i was like uuuuh...are you serious? I'm not even going to try that. Manger was being a total asshole to me about it because he was just a bitch like the rest of the assholes that work at Best Buy, so I was like ookaaaaaay. Walked back there and pushed it off the top Lol. No joke...there were 2 TVs stacked on top of eachother, and I literally walked up to the side of it, and pulled it right off to top so it fell onto the floor. Id day about a 4-5 foot drop and it landed on its side and rolled over so it finished upside down. Looked over and was like "Awww...almost had it!" I was sent home and written up for that. They tried to lecture me about acting up in the workplace the next time I came in to work and said if i didnt shape up they'd fire me. My response was basically A.) I don't need this job so you can fire me whenever you want too. and B.) I'm one of 2 people in the entire PC Homeoffice department that knows ANYTHING about computers at all, and you have blackfriday and xmas season coming up in 2 weeks, and the department is already understaffed because 3 people had quit the 2 weeks before this. I also told them that due to Illinois labor laws, it was illegal for a person of my age to be kept at work after hours if school was scheduled to start the following morning, so I wouldn't be attending anymore truck unloads. They knew they couldnt fire me so they sent me home for the day and I came back for my next shift and nobody said anything about it. That place is the biggest shithole ever. I knew I was going to quit, so I spent the last few weeks talking people down into buying the cheapest computers, and talked them OUT of any service plans or unneeded accessories haha. Needless to say I did not use them as a reference for future employment haha. Edited by Tommyb, Nov 19 2012, 04:34 PM.
