Yeah I mean the LOTR movies are cool, but exactly what Ilivas said, too long and drawn out for me. Ive actually seen about the last hour of the second movie, and it was pretty cool. I just cant get into them...i think it's because they casted Elisia Wood....I don't like that 35 year old 14 year old boy |

Hah...so did anybody hear that police never found a single assault rifle in the school in Newtown? They recovered 4 pistols, and found an AR15 in the trunk of his car. All these assault rifle ban bandwagoners using this tragic event as "proof" we need an all out ban on assault rifles, and he DIDNT EVEN USE ONE. comical http://video.today.msnbc.msn.com/today/50208495#50208495 Edited by Tommyb, Dec 27 2012, 12:26 PM.

dood its fking retarded how they are going after guns after this shooting... yoh, you can't ban crazy. and if a crazy man wants a gun, a crazy man will get a gun. they just had a mass school stabbing in china... see no gun, still crazy, kids still dead. Get over it hippies, it sucks but guns don't go around walking on their own legs shooting people. look at the unibomb dood.. no guns.... and completely fking exploded an entire building. i'd say a gun is one of the least effective ways............. |

Yeah if any anti-gun legislation gets passed I am going to be pissed! So as typical with the Camaro, nothing can go right. On the driver side rear quarter the clear sanded through? DOH!!! Anyway, hopefully one more day on the car and it is finished, we shall know next Tuesday. And believe me, this is cutting it down to the wire. I pick up the moving truck and trailer on Thursday, to be on the road Friday. Um..... Time is def. running short.

Bah! Go out to the truck today, battery is super dead. Can't even jump it back to life.:ha But the reality is that isn't that funny. Truck battery, plus wheel bearing for her Grand Am, plus tune up stuff for her car: $371. That is after the 15% discount code from Advance Auto!!!! Damn. |

Yep typical. Trying to save money, not spend a lot, BAM! The tune up stuff was expected, as was the wheel bearing (been making racket since August), but the $100+ battery was not on the agenda. ![]() She will probably be driving approx. 2 hr. round trip daily if not a little more, say later on down the road when she takes classes, so getting that Grand Am in tip top shape is high on my priority list. Now that it starts every time the key is turned, time to work on it running a bit better, safer, and quieter. Damn wheel bearing is LOUD!!!! So new plugs, o2 sensors, air filter, oil change, wheel hub assembly. Oh did I mention they are probably the factory o2 sensors and spark plugs??? Yeah she has owned the car since 2005 and doesn't know if they have ever been changed..... On the plus side, the troublematic intake manifold gaskets that are notorious on 3.4s were changed last year. Edited by camar0corey, Dec 28 2012, 04:17 PM.

Yeah, oklahoma city bomber was another one... Ban fertilizer! Cocaine is banned in the US, but anyone can go out and get some in less than an hour whenever they want. I'd hate to break it to the Libs, but Guns are easier to make then drugs. This guy made an AK47 out of a shovel in his basement. http://www.northeastshooters.com/vbulletin/threads/179192-DIY-Shovel-AK-photo-tsunami-warning! With 3d printers, it's easy to make AR15 receivers. 3D printers are getting cheap enough to where the average guy can buy one. http://www.forbes.com/sites/andygreenberg/2012/12/19/3d-printing-startup-makerbot-cracks-down-on-printable-gun-designs/ The only people that will be without guns will be the people who actually want to obey the law. |

^ exactly this is what I don't understand... and why does nobody bring this up? if someone wants a gun, and wnats to do something bad with a gun.. THEY WILL GET IT. you can't stop someone that is determined! I do often wonder why it seems there are more crazy people doing crazy shit....... its like now the goto crazy guy thing to do is go mow down a large amount of people before killing himself. Yup. Handguns are banned in the city limits of Chicago, not even concealed carry, I mean completely banned. Like you arent allowed to have one in your home, yet there we just surpassed 500 murders within city limits for the year, and I guarantee the majority of those killings were not with AR15s, AK47s, or Shotguns...they were committed with handguns. Which is mind boggling because you would think criminals and murderers would obey the law?

Yeah, the mayor of chicago is pushing hard for that high cap mag, and assault weapons ban. When the NRA suggested that armed guards be placed in all schools (which is ridiculous, but they are trying to make a point). Rahm and Obama scoffed at it, although Obama, and Rahm's children both attend private schools with armed guards. I guess their children are an exception. You keep seeing anti-gun politicians recently getting caught illegally armed also.

The liberal media likes to twist the facts, and support whatever agenda they have. They're just want to use scare tactics to take people's rights away. They're trying to ban one of these rifles that I have below because it is scary looking. ![]() In reality, the rifle in the picture below is the same rifle. I just put a dress up kit on it to make it look cool. When I bought it at wal-mart it looked just like the one in the picture below, yet they want mine to be illegal even though one is no more "lethal" than the other. It's the equivalent of putting spinners, and under body neon lights on a car. ![]() Edited by ilivas, Dec 29 2012, 05:57 PM.

Still hoping nothing is passed. I haven't bought my rifle yet!! Nor all the goodies I want for the Saiga. Leaning towards a AK based rifle now, I don't know haha At one point I thought of a AR chambered in .308, but that probably gets really expensive to shoot. Wish I had some funds at the moment. |

The AK's are ridiculously expensive right now. I'd rather have an AR chambered in 5.56, and they're still reasonably priced. The AR is a better overall rifle. |

True. But honestly, it's not as bad as it seems. I know it looks like a total cesspool from the outside looking in, but it's not as bad as it seems. The only really, really shitty/dangerous parts are on the south side. It's really bad down there, and it's where the majority of Chicago gangs and shit call home. I live on the northside of the city where crime isn't nearly as bad. I've never felt unsafe walking the streets at night. But yeah, the liberal bullshit is annoying, but other than stricter gun laws, I dont really notice it all that much. |

I don't think it's necessarily the crime rate that's a turn off for me, it's the fact that it's pretty much a police state as it is, not to mention the liberal mentality that is lobbying for even more rights to be stripped away. I feel the same about California and New York. What I do like about them though is that there is always a lot to do. Edited by ilivas, Dec 31 2012, 07:43 PM.
