I think you would like Charlotte, or more specifically charlotte suburbs like Mooresville, Huntersville, or Concord Corey. You'll be close to a large metropolitan city which has a lot of stuff to do, you're only a couple hours from the mounains for skiing, hiking, camping, kayaking, hunting, etc. There are lakes, and lake front properties everywhere. Everyone has boats, water skis, fish, and all that stuff. You're also only a few hours from the beach. Yeah, our local economy is actually doing pretty well, as far as skilled labor goes at least. Unskilled labor workforce is kind of having a tough time right now. Is criminal justice a degree for being a police detective? We have a huge budget for law enforcement. |

It's pretty sad how they can fuck that up. They get payed a ton of money to play a game... something that most people do for free because the athletes have the right genes, or whatever. They get a free college education with degree probably without taking a single exam, or reading one book. I mean, everything is handed to them, and all you have to do is not be a shit bag low life? Really Michael Vick?? |

yea its like they start in HS, and the parents push it. don't be smart... just get good at running and chasing a ball like a dog. then they find the good ball chasers... send them to free collage......and they are passed on to the big time... all with doing nothing but that. and when you think about the scope....... they are just cannon fodder to the machine, cause the machine makes the real money.. so much so, that they can afford to pay the players such pay. its sad. |

Hmm have an interview tomorrow afternoon for working at a Lowes distribution center. Hour drive to work, but $12.50/hr to start, 10 hr. days, Mon-Thurs. Long weekends! Something to do for now I guess, and beats repairing pallets. ![]() Vampire shift, back to weird hours I guess! Well if it all goes well.

It's something to do, I'll see how positive I am in the bank account after subtracting fuel costs. The truck isn't too bad on fuel. |

My sister in law runs a Nickel/Chrome Plating, Powder coat and metal jacket plant near Chicago, and she asked me to come take some pics of the different lines for their new website they're having made. It's kind of bizarre because she's been working there for over 10 years, and to her its just "work." But to me, it looked awesome. I thought it was so cool and industrial looking, that I went in early before the lines were running to snap a few pics of my own. This one in the link below is probably one of my favorite pictures Ive ever taken. I dont know why, I just think it has like a decayed and evil look to it.

powdercoating is not bad if they have all the correct ventilation! the place we use has a room with a entire wall that is running water and all the overspray is caught by the water. wetaher the water is electrified pos or neg that I don't know! As soon as the anodize crap hits your nose your body screams ~get the fuck out of here~
