I almost just wanna go out and get an old GSX, the ones that are just press start and go.. no computers to burn up, no digital gauges to flood and just strip it out and rebuild it 100% you'd have a new fast as fk ski and it wouldn't have any of that new fancy shit to break.. and it would be small!!! ![]() |

it was beautiful this weekend. Mid 65-73*, sunny with a little breeze. I ended up walking over and going to two Cubs games. It was an awesome weekend, provided you didn't watch the horrible game being played haha. |

so I roll into GNC to pick up some glutamine and at check out the dood is all like bam check all all these free samples you get.. and im looking at all these packages like ummmmmm i've never taken shit like this sooooo ok whatever. get home and flip all the samples over and read what they have in them.. every single one of these has AT LEAST 1500mg of caffeine.. hahaah yea these are hitting the garbage. |

Yeah I never really take any of those supplements, I just try to eat a lot of fruit and take some whey after I lift. The most hardcore I've ever been was I took creatine supplements for about 4 months. But then I read that you really shouldnt be on that stuff for a long time so I stopped. I'll tell you what tho, that shit turbo charged my lifting results more than I ever thought it would. I wasn't any stronger, but after loading the creatine into my system for a week, I wasn't nearly as gassed at the end of sets. For example, I would do a set of weight on the bench that I could just barely rep 10 times without being able to do a single one. After i was dont with the loading phase of creatine, I was able to do that same weight an easy 14 times. It basically just gives you the same strength for longer..which is awesome. I think I put on about 25 lbs and kept the same weight in that 4 month period. Tho when I got off the creatine, i dropped about 8-10lbs in water weight over the next week or so. EDIT: Holy shit, I just googled how many mg of caffine was in a normal cup of coffee...115-175mg average....shit. FUCK YEAH BRO I JUST DRANK 8.5 CUPS OF FUCKING COFFEE AND I'M READY TO FUCKIN RAGE AND LIFT BRAH. FUCK YEAH BRO IM IN THE FUCKING ZONE .......................................

hahaha ok so you still haven't reached the caff levels of one of these little pills you can see why they are hitting the garbage. im pretty sure matt said creatine is what ripped his kidneys... i never took any of that stuff just protein and thats it. glutamine isn't even anything, it just keeps you from getting burned out and tired.. like bananas without having to eat bananas. 3 days of 18 miles a day and my legs don't like stairs anymore.. and im pushing myself 7 days a week.. so around saturday im so fked only huff out 10 and these aren't a leisurely 18 miles... its 18 miles at 20mph+ i keep it booked the whole time.

This was like 8-9 years go now so I think I'm alright. But yeah I heard creatine was linked to kidney failure, but from what I've read it seems like it's more the amount of protein people are taking along with it. Yeah, people were on creatine, but they were also taking 350-400g of protein every day. Your kidneys can't handle that shit...creatine really had nothing to do with it i dont think. What ever happened to Matt anyway? |

yea its kinda scary what those guys take and do... 400g of protein is pretty much double your intake, add extra shit on top of that... everyday..... they think they are made of iron or something? matt.. who knows, he just faded away. |

I heard anything over 100g in a day is just wasted. Something about your body only being able to absorb a limited amount in a given time frame and you just pee/shit the rest of it out. I could be wrong tho. |

only rule of thumb i've heard was 1g per lbs. Even when I was drinking shakes i never got close to that either though. |

Hmm I could probably increase my protein intake then. The wife picked up that Body Fortress Whey at Walmart, I've been having a scoop of that in a smoothie loaded with fruits with a whole milk base. The job at Walmart has made me lose my massive ass. Sad numbers, but I'm up from 35 pushups to 42 this week. Running 3.3 miles in 30.5 minutes, just started running again. Still have to repair my bike. I see the Body Fortress has an amount of creatine in it. Yep no idea what happened to Matt, he came back on RF, said things were looking up,then just poof, gone. |
