The idiots over at SVT Performance acting like a ZL1 that is 250 lbs heavier, and 100 rwhp light beating a 2013 GT500 on a road course by 7 tenths of a second is no big deal! |

and it will keep beating it non-stop for 24 hours while the mustang would probably explode and have to be pulled to the pits after 1 hour. |

LOL sp00ke is such a camaro fanboi speaking of new cars, I was thinking of trading my S10 in on either a new chevy cruze or sonic: has to have the 6spd and 1.4L turbo ones only though! badass gas mileage yoh! dealer is suppose to offer $4k over my trade in value so I should get a lot of money off on one if I did. Anyone know one with either one? Probably try and test drive them next week since this week im super busy. |

yes I am.... I don't hide it. I go with the sonic just based on it being a hatch and more useful then a trunk. |

I avoided them like the plague when I was younger, but as I get older, they're starting to grow on me, and they seem really practical to haul shit instead of using my pathfinder. Great gas mileage, utility, cargo space, and I can get one in awd. I liked the pathfinder because of the 3rd row seats, and the ability to tow shit, but lately... I don't really like hauling too many people around, and I don't have to tow anything heavy anymore (a trailer with a subaru in it). A wagon will tow a small boat or some jet skis. i was trying to pick up a volvo V70 wagon when i was looking for my honda, they were just all beat up or high priced. shame would have got lots of use too! One time i had to haul some AV stuff to an event and I had the trunk full... back seats full... front passenger full... then driving it hahhaaha poor thing was saying get the elephant off my roof. |

Went to the track yesterday and ran a best of 13.6@97mph on street tires 2.1 60' WTF? tryin to figure out why my mph is so low...suspect #1 is the cheap torque converter robing me of hp. |

how cheap is cheap? im running a tq converter out of a chevy truck just fine It did take me a while to figure out how to drive it though.... when i first got it i almost hated it cause it made my car feel slower. Now im cool with it.

butttttt its bolted up to a 90 year old carb'ed 350 in a 27 ft long car... i'd say little thomas the train is doing a good job. unless you've swapped an LS2 in it or something and didn't tell anyone your numbers sound GOOD for what you are running. ----------- what RPM are you launching from? I found my old truck converter will flash better with almost no pre load, so im launching from 1000 RPMs which is pretty much just making sure my foot is on the pedal ready to rock, just real easy at 1st then once im rolling good I hammer it down and go go go. What is your car tipping at the scales? and what RPM is your converter set at? Edited by sn00zie, Jun 29 2012, 09:38 AM.

i'd say not bad.... i don't expect a 4500lbs truck to jump into the 12's without some serious push. |
