The article doesn't mean anything. It's just speculation... 99% of these are never true. |

I think he got hits, but he using small caliber ammunition. I'm not sure how, you'd miss from that distance. If you're adrenalin is pumping, and/or are a drug addict... you can probably make it a little ways before your body shuts down. They later got arrested though. If he did miss, I'll cut him some slack since he's 71 years old, and has huge balls. It's crazy how many seniors are getting their concealed handgun permits. When I took my class, the whole class was 65+ years old, and it was the same when my buddy took the class as well a few weeks ago. Edited by ilivas, Jul 18 2012, 11:50 AM.

Yeah saw that video yesterday, guy needs some classes on how to properly handle his firearm. Still way to go old guy! Stuff like this needs to happen more often, have to put that fear of doubt in the mind of criminals. It is hard to say though, I've read up that pretty much if you have moved up to armed robbery, you are prepared to take human life. |

I always tell people, if you are willing and able, please get your concealed handgun, and carry a gun. It's the citizen's responsibility to protect one another, and criminals would think twice before running into an Internet cafe Rambo style. |

I've been thinking of telling my gf it is time to get hers, but we might be moving to PA next year. So probably have to apply up here, I'm thinking once I change my address my FL one will be invalid, even though PA has reciprocity with FL. So that is my thought process, it would be a waste of around $120 if she gets her's in FL for now. |

I have no idea how it works if you move... Nice on getting your girl to get a permit though. Mine, just got hers about 6 months ago. |

She is quite the quick learner. She went from freaking out and shooting way high (wood was splintering from above the target holder ), to shooting a loose grouping her third time up. Only had my Springfield between the 4 of us that went. So she def. wants her permit and we will have to find a place that rents so she can find something more her size. While I comfortably carry a 4" barrel .40, I don't think that will go over well with the 5'2" woman.

Mine carries a sig sauer p238. It's soft shooting, small, easy slide to rack, night sights, etc. perfect for a female to carry as long as she can handle having a safety. ![]() Edited by ilivas, Jul 20 2012, 07:45 PM.
