The car feels so much better with the Comp Ultra Promags. I have the feeling those Scorpions were doing a shitastic job in operating my valves.

nice, now go get a new timeslip Corey. I'm going to try and go to the track with the C10 tomorrow and get some 1/4 mile timeslips if the weather stays nice. It should be in some cool temps though like about 55-60 so its going to be even worse on my street tires lol. |

I'm going to have to order Thai hot at this place next time. I just ordered hot as it was the first visit to this place. It wasn't very hot, but it was tasty! I had curry duck. Yeah if you just want to paint her's its pretty cheap and fast. I think I have about $30 in supplies and under six hours worth of time in them. Cannot wait to see how it looks once I get the Sport COMP-2's on! 255/50/16 vs. 235/55/16, plus the tire sponsors on tech say the COMP-2's run wider than the competition in the 255 wide size. Might have something that looks like a 265-275 tire on there, I hope! Tires I am looking at. I've never had a legit high performance "summer" style tire on the car before. I'm kind of curious how that feels! |

I used engine enamel. Just shot it out of the can, no extra nozzle or anything. Hopefully Koni shocks and BMR lowering springs here and installed by this time next week! That plus the new tires should get rid of the 4x4 stance.

I've never had much luck with spray cans... I've only been successful with airbrushes... I can't seem to get the finish even, and I always over spray with spray cans. I guess I need more practice.

Nope, I used to get C's in art all the time, I'm not moonlighting as a graffiti artist. The nozzles have become easier to control these days though, they should have an almost springboard like appearance, at least the stuff I was using did. I used both the primer and engine enamel from Dupli-color, self etching for the primer and then like a dark grey for the top coat. I've always wanted to hit up an auto-x or the Gainesville road course. Guess there is like a mini road course or auto-x in Orlando that has been open for a while also. I guess in Orlando and in some other spots in FL there is Rally Cross now?! It sounds fun as hell, buy a beater and go to town! My motor guy has some friends that do it, he says they take a $500 300ZX to it all the time, and usually come in 1st with it as everyone else seems worried about breaking things. |

It really sucks that my car is not painted yet. Went with the gf to one of the local outside megamall things that are around here because her mom can't drive right now due to a foot surgery, dropped her off at some hair place. So we find out they are having a car show there that day. There was NOT ONE LT1 CAMARO THERE! There was no cars with roll bars or awesome aftermarket seats/harnesses, etc..... If my car were painted I would have stood out all sorts of awesome there. I also was not aware of how many supercharged Mustangs are in the area. So only one really stood out to me, because it was a Cobra with a turbo instead. Good looking car! I'm not kidding when I say this, 1/3rd of the cars were 5th gen Camaros. Made me sick, but I did see the first ZL1 I've ever seen in person. Great looking, I was disappointed that the guy had chosen to go with an automatic. The only other 5th gen worth my attention was in that almost hugger orange color, it was lowwwwwwww and had a procharger. It was crazy though, there were so few classics. Really shows the lazy retiree demographic of the Tampa Bay area, most of the cars were 5th gens, C6 Corvettes and a handful of Challengers. The only LT1 motor I saw that day was in a Impala SS, and the car was ghetto........ Really wish I could have brought my rumbly beast! |

lol how did you break that? So I finaly got around to taking the truck to the strip but OMG it was thee most crowded I've ever seen it for a weekday (wild wednesday). Only got 2 fricken runs in which is gay as im about to explain. So first run I spin the hell out of the lame street tires and since I left it in drive, it shifts at like 4k rpm and ended up geting a horrible 15 second time at 95mph lol. 2nd Run I was like damn I need to shift this thing manualy which I havnt had time to play around with it on the street much so I start off and dont spin and had a really good take off considering my shity old tires. Everything is feeling good then I go to shift it and skip 2nd and went into drive and it shifted imediatly into 3rd and god damnit fell on its face again. Ran a 14.0 at 95 again LAME. God I need some more runs. Damn if I had some DR tires I could easily pull some low 13 sec runs even if i fuck the shifts up. My 60ft the 2nd go around was a 2.2 btw. It has a good working posi in it though so If I put some tires on it, it will hook hard. 3k stall is a bit low for this cam'd 6.0 and its got a stock truck intake so It has a lot more potential. Looking at geting a pro-flo XT intake for it which is kinda like a EFI high rise because it should fit under the hood just fine and make 40hp over the truck intake easily. Need to also invest in a good TC, that will go a long way with tires the most but will also pick up MPH on the big end as well since this one is so loose. |

no not keeping it, would like to but I wouldn't have the funds to fix up the Bel Air for a long time if I kept it. So I will be puting it up for sale just not in a hurry yet. |
